YNS Happy Heart

A little while ago I was asked if I wanted to be a guest designer for Your Next Stamp. I wasn’t entirely sure if I had time and energy, but I decided there was no way I could pass up the opportunity, and they did give me plenty of time! So here I am, guest designing! You can find this and a couple more of my cards on their blog this month.

The first card I’ve made for them I’ve made as a layered card. I’ve used this adorable bunny along with a great sentiment set and gumdrops. I love the gumdrops! They are perfect for my cards and I wish I had loads more of them right now!

Christmas hedgehogs

I made this card for the December issue of a Norwegian card making and scrapbooking magazine called Ett Trykk. I used the super-cute hedgehogs from MFT Stamps along with some distress inks and Make it Crafty chipboard. It had to be blue, of course, as I love making blue winter/Christmas cards.

Here is another view of the front of the card

And this little dude appears in the corner on the inside of the card.

Card featured in Ett Trykk

Right around new year, when people were busy deciding on what resolutions to make and whether or not to keep them the following day, I decided on a half random impulse to submit two cards for a magazine! Yup, that’s right. It even made it into the magazine! So I have now proudly had one of my cards featured in Ett Trykk. Yey! Although I really don’t like the background they decided to add to it.. but at least here on my blog they will be without that background. Yey!

I’ve used Mo’s Digital Pencil‘s dandelion girl stamp called Make a Wish for this. I absolutely adore her! I think it is one of my favourite Mo stamps! The paper is from Paper Cellar and the sentiment stamp is by Norsk Stempelblad.

I had to submit a couple of extra photos, so why not add them here as well!

Here is a close-up of the coloured image, too.

Copics used: (hair) E70, E71, E74, E77, E79, (skin) E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, (green) YG61, YG63, G67, G99, (yellow) Y11, Y13, Y19, Y38, (grey/white) C1, C3, C5, C7

Happy Momster’s Day

Today I am guest designing for Sasayaki Glitter. I picked this totally super-awesome Monster Family stamp for my project.

The background has been made with Distress Inks, the purple is a regular one and the green is an Oxide. I simply couldn’t resist making my own sentiment because of the look on what I take to be the mother monster’s face. I love it!

Copics used: (green) YG63, YG67, G21, G40, (yellow) Y13, Y19, (orange) Y000, YR00, YR02, YR04, (purple) V91, V93, V95, V99, (red) R00, R20, R22

Goth Avery

I was requested to make another card for the Paper Nest Dolls to match the one I made at the start of the year. (You can find it here.) This time I went for soft pastels and pink, but kept the card design similar and the hair colour the same. Once again I made the sentiment myself and printed it straight onto the card base. The paper is by Paper Cellar.

Yup, I know the photo is a bit wonky, but hey!
