RAM ice Skating

October has been a very busy month so far as you might have guessed from my lack of posts on the blog so far. Thankfully things will start slowing down again next week so I plan to catch up a bit then. I have managed to make a handful of cards or so, and once I’ve managed to take the photos and write the blog posts they will start appearing here. The first one out is Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios Ice Skating. Her stamps are adorable and quite expressive, so I tend to make rather clean and simple cards using her stamps. And that is what I’ve done again today.

The image is coloured up and then I added some frantage to it before I put it on foam tape and added a simple sentiment from Mama Elephant across the bottom on a coloured piece of cardstock.

Copics used: E00, E02, E13, E15, BV20, BV23, BV25, BV29, E08, E18, E19, E97, RV32, RV34, R37, RV99, BG72, BG75, BG78, BG99, B000, B41, BG10, N0, N2, N3

RAM Christmas Tree

I have another card to share where I’ve coloured up one of the adorable stamps by Rachelle Anne Miller. As it’s August already, it might be time to start slowly with the Christmas cards. It would save you having to do loads in November and December! That’s my goal at least, to have quite a few done before then, and I think I’m on track for it. This stamp is called Christmas Tree.

As for the rest of the card, I coloured up a matching background, and then die cut the coloured panel. I used various paper scraps and dies to make a cluster and then used a Norwegian text stamp for the Christmas sentiment.

Copics used: Y35, Y38, YR18, BV000, BV00, BV02, BV04, BV08, BV20, BV23, RV63, RV66, RV69, B12, B14, B16, B91, B93, B95, B97, B99, BG90, BG93, BG96, BG99, G21, G24, G28, E00, E02, E13, E15, E21, E25, E29, E41, E42, E43, E44, E71, E74, E77, N0, N2, C0, W0, W2, W5

LotV boy and his dinosaur

I made a really fun and colourful card for the latest Lili of the Valley stamp release. The new boy stamps are adorable, and I love this little one riding on a dinosaur with loads of presents and a little cupcake at the tip of the dinosaur’s tail!

The card is kept simple. I used distress inks to create a matching panel to have on the side of the coloured image and put the sentiment stamp on bright orange card stock. Because birthday cards are supposed to be fun, right?

Whimsy Frog Prince

Leap year day today. 29th February, so of course I had to post something as it’ll be a while until I have that opportunity again! I’ve used the Frog Prince from the Wee Stamps collection over at Whimsy Stamps for this card. I’ve stuck with my CAS card size and made it a semi-layered card.

Copics used: YG01, G21, G24, G28, BG99, B21, B23, B26, B39, Y32, Y35, Y38, N5, N7, N9

LotV James bear with presents

There’s no secret I love this bear from Lili of the Valley. This time he’s made his way onto a clean and simple card, and in blue. I decided to just draw on a frame around everything by hand and then write over the stamped sentiment to create a shadow effect of it as it smudged a little when I stamped it.

Copics used: E41, E42, E43, E44, B91, B93, B95, B97, B99, BG90, BG93, BG96, BG99, N0, N1, N3, N5, V91, V95
