Whimsy bunny Row

For Whimsy Stamps‘ December release I’ve made a slimline card using the Christmas Bunny Row extended stamp. This extended version is perfect for a slimline card. They do have one with fewer bunnies as well (here). I’ve kept it super simple and just coloured it up, embossed first with white embossing powder and then some white frantage to get some bigger chunks as well. The coloured panel was added to the card base using foam tape.

Copics used: W0, W1, W3, N0, N1, N3, YG61, YG63, YG67, E41, E42, E43, E44, B0000, BG000, BV20, BV23, V000, BV000, BV01, BV02, R24, R59

RAM ice Skating

October has been a very busy month so far as you might have guessed from my lack of posts on the blog so far. Thankfully things will start slowing down again next week so I plan to catch up a bit then. I have managed to make a handful of cards or so, and once I’ve managed to take the photos and write the blog posts they will start appearing here. The first one out is Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios Ice Skating. Her stamps are adorable and quite expressive, so I tend to make rather clean and simple cards using her stamps. And that is what I’ve done again today.

The image is coloured up and then I added some frantage to it before I put it on foam tape and added a simple sentiment from Mama Elephant across the bottom on a coloured piece of cardstock.

Copics used: E00, E02, E13, E15, BV20, BV23, BV25, BV29, E08, E18, E19, E97, RV32, RV34, R37, RV99, BG72, BG75, BG78, BG99, B000, B41, BG10, N0, N2, N3

Alex Syberia Lovely Bouquet

I have made another card with the new Alex Syberia Design release. This time I’ve coloured up the Lovely Bouquet. I resized and rotated the stamp to get it how I wanted it before I printed it on A2 card stock. Once coloured I cut off a little on the size and at the bottom. The sentiment is by Hero Arts / Gina K and I used Altenew ink to stamp it. Then I sprinkled on some frantage with blue glitter and heat embossed that before using foam tape to put the coloured panel onto dark blue card stock.

Here is another photo so you can see the frantage with the blue glitter at a close-up.

Crafty Meraki – Sympathy rose

For today’s card, as my Crafty Meraki post of a the week, I’ve used Colorado Craft Company as my primary focus. The stamp is called Big & Bold Sympathy Rose. The stamp is quite large, so you need to cut it to make it fit on an A2 card. I opted for an angle a bit different to what is usual for this stamp and I picked some semi-random colours to colour it up. The flower is stamped with Ink On 3’s Fadeout ink.

As the stamp itself takes up so much space, I opted to leave the card reasonably simple. Just a bit of frantage over the coloured panel, a sentiment and some enamel dots in a match colour.

The sentiment is from MFT Stamps, the Smile Maker set, and is embossed in white on dark green card stock.

Hello there, butterfly

I went out yesterday and purchased me another Magnolia stamp, or… a few, actually! I know what I am like with rubber stamps, though, so I quickly stamped up a few of them to have them at hand before I forget all about even buying them… Before I started on the image I had decided I wanted to do one with loads of layers, and pink. Because I haven’t done pink in a while!

As usual I’ve coloured it in with Copics, the pink candi is also coloured with Copics. I’ve used a bunch of Maja Design papers, cut out the text sentiment, used a Tim Holtz charm, some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and a bit of white acrylic paint and frantage. I had to cut out the image by hand as I’d managed to stamp it up so terribly it couldn’t stay with its background, haha.

Let’s take a closer look of the girl. It was a bit fiddly to cut it out by hand!

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E21, (hair) E41, E42, E43, E44, (white) W0, W1, W3, W5, (pink) RV00, R81, R83, R85
