Make a wish

Time for another card with pencil colouring! I actually coloured this one up as one of my first pencil colourings back in May last year and it’s taken until now for it to make its way onto a card. The stamp is from Purple Onion Designs and I use Prismacolor Premier pencils.

The card itself is simple. I’ve cut the panel a little narrow to fit a stripe of coloured cardstock down the side. I’ve drawn in a border around the edges of the coloured panel as well. The sentiment is a combination of a stamp from MFT Stamps and one of their dies which I’ve cut short so it only says “wish”. I had the perfect amount of light blue enamel dots from Altenew left, so they got to hang out around the sentiment as well.

Dragon and snowdrop

I have coloured up a few of Lee Holland‘s adorable images this year, but I think this might be the first time one of them has made its way onto a card. It would work as both a birthday card and a Christmas card (well, and encouragement and friendship cards), but in the end I opted to make a birthday card out of it by using a Papirdesign sentiment. I kept the whole thing quite simple. The stamp was coloured up using Prismacolor pencils.

Whimsy Fox Mom

There is a new ¬†Whimsy Stamps release out today. Can you believe it’s July already?! I decided to dig out my pencils for this one and I also mirrored the stamp so the fox is facing right instead of left. This is my first attempt at fur using pencils, so although I’m not entirely happy with it I also know I should have semi-reasonable expectations, hahaha. I think it turned out alright, to be honest! The stamp is called Fox Mom.

I kept the card mostly simple, but added a cluster of die cuts from various paper scraps I had laying about. A few enamel dots and a sentiment also from Whimsy Stamps which I coloured digitally to match the scraps of paper.
