Dearest Friend

A couple of weeks ago I went to a crafting fair and of course I had to buy some new stamps and things. I found a stand with a few Altenew products finally, so of course I couldn’t leave empty-handed. Here is the first Altenew card I’ve made. Of course it had to be something I could colour first! I even coloured in a background colour this time!

As usual I’ve kept the card clean and simple. And the stamp set? It’s called Dearest Friend. I absolutely love the sentiments that came with as well!

Copics used: V01, V12, V15, V15, V09, B32, B34, B37, YG13, YG63, YG67, R39, R81, R83, R85, BV20, BV23, BV25, BV29, Y13, Y18, E19, E97, E74

Colouring tutorial: Countryside Bouquet, Power Poppy

Hello everyone! I finally have a new colouring video to share with you. I filmed this a few months ago, but then life happened and with my voice being partially gone the past month (almost) it’s taken a while for me to get the editing done. So first off I’d like to apologise for my voice not being great, but I got a bit fed up waiting for the cough to go completely and having my voice back to normal.

I have used a stamp by Power Poppy called Countryside Bouquet. You can find it in both digital and clear stamp versions.

If you would rather watch the video on You Tube, here.

If you’d like to see the card I made with this colouring, you can find that here.

Copics used: (green) YG13, YG67, (yellow) Y11, Y13, Y19, Y38, (red) R22, R24, R27, R89, (orange) Y19, Y38, YR18, E08, (blue) V000, B91, B93, B97, (centre of flowers) E08, E97 (grey) W3, W7,

Countryside bouquet

It’s been a while since I shared a proper clean and simple card. Here I’ve coloured in an image, put it on purple card stock, added a few pearls and a sentiment. I do like them like this. The image I’ve used is from Power Poppy, Countryside Bouquet, and I’ve listed all the colours I used at the bottom of the post. This card has been made for the current moodboard challenge over at the Copic Marker Norge blog.

Copics used: (green) YG13, YG67, (yellow) Y11, Y13, Y19, Y38, (red) R22, R24, R27, R89, (orange) Y19, Y38, YR18, E08, (blue) V000, B91, B93, B97, (centre of flowers) E08, E97 (grey) W3, W7, (background) W0, W1, Y000, V000

Papers with a knitted pattern and blues

Here is another card without any colouring. I made it so it would match the ballerina card I posted about the other day.

Here is a card I made on order. I used loads of papers with kitting on by Papirdesign and some other scraps I had laying around that matched well. I’ve got flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and candi and leaves made with a Martha Stewart puncher.

Here is a close-up of the flowers.

Thinking of you Marci

Another Monday, another La-La Lands Crafts day! It is getting pretty close to easter and I doubt I will have much time to craft over the next two weeks or so. For once I am pretty much on top of things, though. Go me!

This week our theme is Flowers. A good excuse for me to make a new cards with flowers on. You will find a list of products I’ve used with links to the items below the photos, above the list of Copics. I’ve gotten better at layering up cards again lately at least, not all clean and simple cards, but I am still not great at using flowers on a lot of projects. But here is one! The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and Live and Love Crafts, the papers by Maja Design and charm by Tim Holtz.

The leaves are pretty great. They cut wonderfully and you have one going each direction! Yey!

Here you can see how I’ve layed up the dies. First the Filigree Flower under the image, then the Deco Border around the image itself, and lastly the butterfly on top.

I love these butterflies! I’ve given them a prominent body with a string of pearls.

Here is one final photo of the card from the floral arrangement side.
