PFS Vintage Card

For my second new release card for Picket Fence Studios (this and the links below are all aff.links), I’ve made a vintage inspired card. I’ve coloured up the fab Jolly Christmas Gnome. For the background I’ve distressed the edge (oxides) and used the awesome Hark, the Angels Sing background stamp (I love a good background stamp!). I then tore the side of the coloured panel before gluing it onto a vintage looking background paper. The sentiment, from the Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree set, is stamped onto kraft card stock and put on foam pads.

A gnome’s workshop

I have actually made quite a few red Christmas cards this year. Today I want to show you another card I made for a card swap. I used a super cute little gnome painting up one of the presents in his workshop this time. The stamp is by Lili of the Valley. The papers are by Maja Design and the chipboard is by Make It Crafty.

I’m running a bit behind still, so if there are any colours you’d like to know, just ask πŸ™‚

LotV Tomte outside

A very clean and simple blue Christms card using one of the Tomte at Lili of the Valley. I decided to do this one in no-lines.

And the Copics? Well, I don’t remember. I coloured it while I was away and in a hurry, but at a guess it was the B90s, E70s, E40s and Ns primarily.

LotV Tomte with teddies

There was a new Lili of the Valley release last week, and although I’ve coloured a few of the stamps which you might have seen on Instagram, this is the first card I’ve made. It would appear that I am mostly going for red and white for Christmas cards this year and that they are layered. At least so far…

I’ve used Maja Design papers, my favourite lace, a bit of ribbon and twine. As usual I’ve used white acrylic paint on the edges. The sentiement is also a new ones from Lili of the Valley.

Copics used: (skin) E0000, E00, E02, E13, E15, (red) R22, R24, R29, R59, R89, (brown) E41, E42, E43, E44, (ground) W0, W1, W3, W5, (white) N0, N1, N3, (green) G40, G82, G99
