There was a new Lili of the Valley release last week, and although I’ve coloured a few of the stamps which you might have seen on Instagram, this is the first card I’ve made. It would appear that I am mostly going for red and white for Christmas cards this year and that they are layered. At least so far…
I’ve used Maja Design papers, my favourite lace, a bit of ribbon and twine. As usual I’ve used white acrylic paint on the edges. The sentiement is also a new ones from Lili of the Valley.
Today there is a new release full of Christmas stamps over at Lili of the Valley so for that occasion I’ve made a new colouring video. I have coloured up the stamp Bunnies Decorating Tree. As these are digital stamps you can resize them (do make sure it’s proportional, though) to whichever size you fancy. I have mine here approximately 8 cm by 7 cm for the print and if you include the white area around what I’m colouring up then that is 10.5 cm by 10 cm. Just to give you an idea. For this colouring I’m mostly focused on traditional Christmas colours using some of my favourite colour combinations.
There is no audio for this video either. I simply didn’t have time to get that done as well for this release, and I’m sure the baby would try to get her opinions in, too…

I have not made the card with this image yet, but I plan to have it done and posted up on the blog next week.
Oh, and yes, I know my markers are in desperate need of a clean, but I really wanted to get the video done for today. So, yeah, priorities!

Time for another preview of the new Lili of the Valley stamps coming later this week, on Thursday to be exact. I made this card to match the one I showed you yesterday, but this time I made a layered card. Love the new stamps!
During the past month I was so busy taking part in the 30 day colouring challenge on Instagram that I had no time left to make any cards really! Well, the challenge is over now and I have loads of ready-coloured images to make cards of. But before I get started on those, I’ve also gotten to play with the new stamps for the new release at Lili of the Valley which will be out this week. It’s all about Christmas and it’s a great way to get some Christmas cards ready already! Here is the first of the cards I’ve made for the release.
At the start of last year I made my very first La-La Land Crafts card. Now, 81 projects later, I’ve decided to step down off the design team as my time isn’t quite as predictable as before and it’s more difficult to commit to another half a year. It’s been fun to challenge myself with all the different themes and releases along the way. Thank you so much for having me as a part of your team!
For my final project, the theme is shaker card. I’ve decided to go with a clean and simple winter/Christmas card, if a shaker card can even be deemed as CAS… The white main background on the card is embossed using the snowflakes stencil to give it a bit of a texture.
