LLLC – Just for You stamped dress

I’ve made a card where I tried something new. I decided to stamp the dress of the adorable little girl because the background stamp seemed so perfect for a dress! The stamp set I’ve used is Just for You from the new La-La Land Crafts release. I absolutely love this new background stamp!

To get this effect on the dress, I first stamped the background stamp in the colour I wanted the dress, and then I stamped the girl over the top of it. Then I fussy cut out the dress before I used my Copics to draw in some shadowed areas on the dress. Afterwards I glued it onto the girl stamp I’d started colouring up and voila!

The background stamp is stamped with a deep red Distress Ink, whereas the dress is stamped with a yellow shade of Distress Oxide Ink.

LLLC – Just for You

La-La Land Crafts is out with a new release and it’s awesome! There are two new types of products! Both clear stamps AND background stamps! How cool is that?!

First off I will be showing you one of the background stamps with its coordinating stamps. It is called Just for You. The flowers, the pot and the sentiment all come with the new gingham background stamp! It’s such a great set and I really love it. I decided to make a clean and simple card where I embossed the sentiment in white.

I’ve had so much fun making backgrounds with the new background stamps from La-La Land Crafts. For this card I’ve used the one called Just for You. I think it is my favourite! I love how the pattern looks and that I can have it any colour or colour combination I want. I definitely need more background stamps!

Additionally I’ve used a Magnolia stamp which I’ve coloured in with Copic Markers, chipboard from Make It Crafty and sentiment from MFT Stamps and some candi I coloured in a matching colour.

Here is a photo from the side. The sentiment has been put on foam pads and the chipboard is in two layers.

New release day at La-La Land Crafts

There is a new La-La Land Crafts release out today! It is super special as it features two new lines of products! One is background stamps sets (yey!) and the other is clear stamp sets (yey!). All the products will be listed and linked to at the bottom of the post. I will be showing off loads of projects using some of these next couple of weeks, but here is a taster and sneak peak of what I’ve been up to lately!

I have coloured up one of the adorable clear stamp sets, the Spring Woodland Critters. Aren’t they super cute? I also think the sentiments are great!

Wryn Wishes for hugs

It is Friday! Yey! The snow is finally nearly gone and we have decent spring weather and it has gotten reasonably warm rather quickly. I am loving it! Spent so much time outside this week!

Today it’s time to snow you another Tiddly Inks card, for Fab Friday! For this card I’ve used the lovely image Wryn Wishes. I’ve used a border die from La-La Land Crafts, leaves are from a Precious Marieke die and the hearts are from Memory Box. The hugs is a chipboard from Make it Crafty and I’ve used Maja Design paper. Around the image I’ve used a swirly leaf die from Noor Design and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
