Don’t be square

It is time for the first challenge where I am on the Tiddly Inks DT and the theme is don’t be square.

I have used the Tiddly Inks image Grow a Little Love. She is so adorable! I’ve used copics to colour it in and decided on a pink card this time. The shaped template is a die by Go Kreate and the lace is from Live and Love Crafts, as are the berry looking flowers. The rest of the flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts whereas the straws are from a local shop. The rest of the dies and punches I’ve used are by Noor Design, Spellbinders and Martha Steward. A dash of frantage around the image and distress ink around the edges of the card, pearls as the butterflies’ bodies as well as drawn on stitches were added as extra touches.

Peaches and greens

Aren’t weddings wonderful? I think so. So here is a wedding card!

This one is made with Pion Papers and an image by Wild Rose Studio, a pre-coloured one. I have made butterflies and leaves with Martha Stewart punchers. The ribbon and big pearls are from The Hobby House and the smallers ones for the body of the butterflies are purchased at Bikuben. Additionally I have (of course) used flowers by Wild Orchid Crafts.

Wedding in Paris

It’s wedding season, isn’t it? Here is the first of about a handful of cards I have made. I stumbled upon some lovely pre-coloured images by Wild Rose Studio. Aren’t they lovely?!

The paper I used is a lovely rose frame by Pion Design. The leaves and butterflies are made from a Martha Stewart puncher. I used pearls to give the butterflies bodies and also to decorate the top corners of the card and to frame the image. The ribbon is from one of the Christmas flowers from last year, I believe, and all the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Love-pets

Just a quick card post. I made this card on request where certain colours were to be represented. This one has been made with Martha Stewart punchers, Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and pearls, ribbon from a local shop, and a pre-coloured image by Lili of the Valley where I used pencils (! That’s a first!) to colour in the red.

Puppy love

Black and white. I love that combination. I haven’t got much black here, but plenty of grey! To jazz it up a little I decided to add a chunk of red! And not a lot else. The red was pretty powerful on its own, I thought. The pre coloured image is by Lili of the Valley. I have the pad with these animals and mostly grey tones. So cute!
