Huldra snowman

I got invited to a crafting retreat this autumn quite last minute and this is one of the cards I made there. One of the other ladies there inspired this card as she’d made a beautiful mosaic background with leftover green papers. I simply had to lift the idea and made a card of my own with the same technique. I really quite like it!

The papers are by Maja Design and Papirdesign, and the stamps are both from Huldra Designstudio. I love the sentiment. It reads: A snowflake is the butterfly of winter.

Begge stemplene er fra Huldra Designstudio og jeg synes tekststempelet er veldig fint! The papers are from Maja Design og Papirdesign.

Wintery hugs

It is time for some mid-way inspiration for the current Copic Marker Norge challenge. It’s moodboard themed as usual and this time I was inspired by it being nature as well as pink and grey hues. I opted for making a rather simple card, keeping the colours and its colours in focus. The image is by Mo’s Digital Pencil and is called Ragged Winnie.

The text has been made using Distress Oxide inks and some Huldra Designstudio sentiments. Oh and the frame? That is Maja Design paper.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, (hair) E53, E55, E57, E59, (pink) R81, R83, R85, R39, (grey) N0, N2, N4, N6, N8

Tiny snowman for Christmas

Guess what!? I have finally updated the overview page for this with all cards I’ve added on the blog up until this one. Boy that took some time. I hadn’t realised I’d made quite that many! If you’d like to take a look, then you can view it here.

Time to show you one of the Christmas card I made at the end of August! I’m still on track for two a month, but I don’t think I will be too eager to make many in December. I feel a bit Christmassed out! Anyway. I decided on a grey, green and purple combination for this, and kept it simple like I have recently.

The stamp is by C.C. Designs and I love it! I’ve combined it with some glitter card stock, La-La Land Crafts Christmas and banner dies, Maja Design paper and some transparent Nuvo Drops.

Cat with big hat Christmas tag

As I am blogging with the Huldra Designstudio stamps, I’ve decided that these posts should also be in Norwegian. Therefore I will write the posts in both languages where the Norwegian part will be in italics.

Siden jeg nå legger ut prosjekter med Huldra Designstudio er det naturlig at jeg også skriver norsk i disse innleggene. Derfor vil alt med kursiv skrift i innleggene være på norsk.

I’ve used the Julekatt og Julehund stamp set and I thin this cat is super adorable! I love his big hat. This stamp seemed perfect for a Christmas tag! I’ve coloured it in with Copics as usual and used various sentiments from two of the other stamp sets on the back side of the tag.  The paper is by Maja Design. I love the sentiments. The front here says “Dear Santa… …define naughty”. Perfect!

Here is the other side of the tag.

Her er baksiden av pakkelappen.

LLLC: Get whale tissue box

For this week’s inspiration at La-La Land Crafts we had to make a 3D project. I opted for making a tissue box cover. I’ve deliberately made the cut out part square so that I can easily see which type of tissues I have in the box (as the actual tissue boxes are in different colours). As usual I decided to do it all myself. I did not write down the measurements I used as I figure there are loads of tutorials on this out there. If I am wrong, just let me know and I’ll make another and do a tutorial for it, too. You can find all the LLLC products I used at the bottom of the page. In addition I used Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and Maja Design and Bazzil paper.

Also, did you know that La-La Land Crafts is having a sale this weekend? The Labor Day sale lasts through 4th September and you get 20% off by using the code LD2018. No exclusions! Sounds great to me!

My favourite whale had to get a spot! It fits the sentiment too well to leave out. You can find the list of Copic colours at the bottom of the post.

The bottom left corner has three butterflies. I do love these little butterflies.

The larger floral arrangement is in the top left corner. I’ve used a couple of leaf dies and some cheese cloth as well

The other top corner also holds flowers, but as a smaller arrangement and with a butterfly.
