Penguin with snowball

Time for another Christmas card, and once again it’s a rather blue one! I’ve used distress oxide on a background stamp from Simon Says Stamp together with dies from MFT Stamps (frame) and Papirdesign (sentiment). The stamp, by Whimsy Stamps, is coloured up with Copics and a few blue sequins finished off the look.

RAM Birthday Mouse

Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studio released some adorable celebration stamps in March and I have coloured up one of them, Birthday Mouse, for today’s card.

I wanted a fun and colourful card, so got out a distress oxide ink, some altenew ink, a background stamp and various dies from MFT Stamps, La-La Land Crafts and Papirdesign. I stuck with the colour scheme from the coloured image.

Copics used: RV00, RV21, RV23, RV25, RV29, V12, V15, V17, V09, YG21, YG23, YG17, YG67, E41, E42, E43, E44, E74, E79, W0, W1, W3, W5, N0, N3

RAM Letters to Santa

I have finally been able to sit down and make a few cards again. First one out is this adorable stamp by Rachelle Anne Miller. It is called Letters to Santa and I’ve coloured it up with my Copic markers.

The card itself is reasonable simple with a die cut main panel and some paper scraps die cut into various scraps for the cluster in the corner. The sentiment is from Papirdesign and most of the paper scraps are Maja Design papers.

Copics used: E00, E02, E13, E15, E41, E42, E43, E44, E71, E74, E77, E79, B91, B93, B95, B97, B99, W0, W1, W3, W5, W7, W9, C0, C1, C3, G28, G43, G46, YG63, BG99, B0000, BV20, BV23

Dragon and snowdrop

I have coloured up a few of Lee Holland‘s adorable images this year, but I think this might be the first time one of them has made its way onto a card. It would work as both a birthday card and a Christmas card (well, and encouragement and friendship cards), but in the end I opted to make a birthday card out of it by using a Papirdesign sentiment. I kept the whole thing quite simple. The stamp was coloured up using Prismacolor pencils.

Whimsy Wee Dolly

June is here and that means not only summer is official here, but also the new release over at Whimsy Stamps. For my release project this month I’ve coloured up Dolly from the Wee Stamps collection using Copic Marker. The text is in Norwegian and means “I greatly appreciate you”.

I’ve done similar to what I did on the card a few days ago, but instead of die cutting the background paper I’ve instead die cut the panel I’ve coloured up and made a long card instead of a tall one. It’s great how you can use one die to get different looking cards. You can find the border die here. And if you like to jazz up the text using some big letters, Whimsy has a great set here.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, (hair) E08, E18, E49, E97, (green) G21, G24, G94, G99, (pink) RV10, RV17, RV32, RV34, (white) N0, N1, N3
