Christmas tags with penguins

I made some Christmas tags for Hobbykunst the week I had my colouring demo there. I’ve used La-La Land Crafts tags, Maja Design papers, penguins from MFT Stamps and text stamps by Huldra Designstudio.

The first one is in wintery blues with the text Hello Winter

This red one is with the text Merry Christmas.

And here is a photo of the two of them together

YNS: Happy Brrr-thday

It is time for another post as a guest designer for Your Next Stamp. As I wrote in my first post, I’m going to make all three projects in ways that are, at least in my opinion, rather typical for me. So this one is with a clean and simple style that includes smaller stamps, distress oxide ink and bright colours. I have in fact made two matching cards. The first one has a darker grey background.

The second card I made with this stamp set has a lighter coloured grey background and the distressed background goes vertically across the middle.

Copics used: N0, N1, N3, N5, N7, RV00, RV09, RV52, RV55, RV69, Y11, Y13, Y38, YR09, E41, E42, E43, E44

Winter Wonderland

For the first challenge of the year, which is an anything goes challenge, the Copic Marker Norge DT has been challenged to use the theme of winter and snow. I’ve opted for a stamp by Lili of the Valley with a lil girl with a penguin outside at winter time.

Copics used: (brown) E70, E71, E74, E77, (sky and penguin scarf) B0000, B000, B00, (white on the hat and ground) W0, W1, W3, W5, (penguin) C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, C9, Y11, Y13, Y19, Y38, (trees) YG63, YG67, (blue clothes) B91, B93, B95, B97

Winter walk with friends

Keeping with the Christmas card theme, to get them all posted up. I delayed posting them at the start of December, as I didn’t want to put them up before giving them away, and then Christmas came around and I wasn’t online much for two weeks. Oh well. Time to catch up!

This one is made with a Sylvia Zet digital image. She has unfortunately closed down her online shop and her images are now only available in pre-coloured versions or rubber stamps. I wish I had paid more attention and purchased some more before she took the shop down.. Oh well. I have coloured it in with copics. The flowers are all Wild Orchid crafts, and I have used Martha Stewart punchers, glitter glue, frantage and various bits from my stash.card306_1
