Another garden wedding

I couldn’t help myself when I got these new images. I simply had to make more than one card! I decided to keep the green through this one as well as the image, by Tiddly Inks, is called Garden Wedding after all.

I’ve used Noor Design and Memory Box dies. The lace, ribbon and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The paper is by Pion. I’ve made the sentiment myself and coloured it all in with copics. You can find the list of colours below the image.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E11, (hair – her) E25, E27, E29, E31, (hair – him) E41, E43, E44, E47, (clothes) W0, W1, W2, W3, W5, W7, W9, (grass) YG03, YG63, YG67, (roses) R24, R29, R89.

Another flowery ballerina

Today is the day. My first proper unspirational post for Copic Marker Norge. I have admittedly put it off because the other girls are super talented and I enjoy looking at their creations. But when you’re due, you’re due, and I am! Don’t forget to enter in our current bingo challenge while you’re there!

I absolutely loved how this ballerina from Aurora Wings turned out last month, so I decided to colour her up again. This time the image is 7.5cm (whereas it was about 10cm last time) so I had to be even more careful and watch the details even closer. It was quite the challenge, but fun!

The papers are by Pion, which I ruffled up and layered with some cheese cloth (bikuben), lace and pearls (LLC), and ribbon. The flowers are as usual from WoC and LLC. I made the top sentiment myself and the bottom one is from LotV.

Card making course with Tracy Payne

On Saturday afternoon I couldn’t shake the thought that there was something going on this weekend that I’d forgotten about. Suddenly it hit me: there is a big scrapping fair in the city, hosted by North Star Stamps, where Tracy Payne of Noor Design UK is visiting and doing courses. I’d forgotten all about it!! Oh no! I was gutted! I went to Tracy’s FB and typed a post along the lines of “Noooo, I forgot about your courses!!”. Then the sweetheart responded she had one spot left for Sunday. It was the class I had wanted the most as well! Did that make my weekend or what!! I am so happy. It is the first card making course I’ve ever attended, and I doubt it will be my last! The card on this post is what she had us making. Isn’t it the best?! I am so pleased I got to meet Tracy, she is such a lovely person!

A lot of the products is of course by Noor Design: the snowflake and mistletoe dies, the red tag, the stencils we used to cut out the window and card shape as well as the bricks, gesso and structure paste for the white elements. The papers we were provided with are by Pion, as is the adorable image. I honestly don’t know where the rest of the goodies are from, but it wouldn’t surprise me if you can get a hold of some of them at Live and Love Crafts!

And of course I made it home with a big grin on my face along with a few new goodies, including the wonderful window stencil and a few Noor Design dies!

One thing is for certain: this card is going up as one of my Christmas decorations!

Guess what! Guess what! Guess what!!

design-team-badge

Yup! I made it! I am now officially a Tiddly Inker! I am so happy to be a part of their team until the end of the year and I cannot wait to make more with their images. They are just too cute! Here is my first post as a member of the Tiddly Inks Design Team.

It is Fabby Friday over at the challenge blog. That means we are showcasing some of the adorable Tiddly Inks images! There is also a challenge currently themed School Rules. Check it out! Anyway, I’ve decided to use Wedding Bells for my card this Friday.

It is coloured in with copics. I used papers from Pion, lace and berry looking flowers from Live and Love Crafts, Noor Design butterfly dies and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
