RAM Scene creator

It is new release day at Rachelle Anne Miller’s online shop tomorrow and this time around she is introducing scene creators (aff.link). Basically it’s a pack of images which you can mix and match as you like to create your own scene. That seems to be the obvious choice with these stamps, so I opted for using just one, as there’s nothing wrong in doing that either! The bunny was my stamp of choice this time and I coloured it up in the no-line version. Be sure to pop by her shop tomorrow (12th) to see the new stamps.

For my card I’ve started off by using Distress Oxide on an Altenew stencil. Then I’ve clear embossed a Simon Says Stamp text onto that before adding various die cut elements and a doily. The stamp itself has been cut out by hand and then placed on top using foam tape. The Norwegian sentiment means “for a delightful friend” and is by Mathia Design.

Polkadoodles Marigold

It’s time for another Polkadoodles project today. As March is coming to an end, spring is just around the corner most places where it hasn’t quite reached it. Where I live, the last bit of snow melted away last week and the weather is warming up nicely.

My card for you today is also spring themed and I’ve used the clear stamp Marigold Darling Buds. It’s been coloured up using Copic markers. I opted for a peach colour which matches the paper in the Soft & Scrumptious craft paper collection quite well, I think. I cut out a panel from the peach background with the green hearts and then cut out the coloured image in a smaller size before attaching it using foam tape. A simple sentiment to bring in more of the hints of green and a few peach coloured enamel dots finished off the card.

Copics: YR00, R12, YR0, R22, G40, G43, G46, YG67, E00, E02, E13, E15, E53, E25, E59, E49

Sympathy Angel

There hasn’t been a whole lot of non-DT cards here lately, so I figure it’s time to post up a few more of those. Today I’m showing you a sympathy card I made on order. It is not often I make this kind of card as a layered card. I gave myself the challenge of colouring up in very pale shades which is rather unusual for me, but I felt this kind of card needed a soft feeling to it.

The stamp is Young Angel by Aurora Wings and the papers are various ones by Maja Design. I’ve used dies from Memory Box and La-La Land Crafts, and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Here is another photo of the card.

Copics used:(pink) RV00, RV52, RV55, RV66, (green) YG61, YG63, (grey/white) W1, W3, W5, (skin) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, (hair) E31, E34, E37, Y000

Twin girls

When I was asked to make this card I was so thrilled it was two twin baby girls! I’ve made a few twin cards before, but not one I could make super girly and pink and frilly and pretty! I took a while to find the right image, but when I came across this Mo Manning image, I simply had to have it! I coloured it in with copics.

As for all the goodies on the card: I have used Noor Design dies for the butterflies, edge border and leaves, Live and Love Crafts for the lace and berry flower, Wild Orchid Crafts for the remaining flowers.

#tiddlyspiration

Here it is: my final post for the Tiddly Inks Design Team. The post is a week late because I have spent the entire start of the year with a nasty cold that seems to finally loosen its grip on me! Anyway, my tiddly term is up, unfortunately. I have absolutely loved working with this images and my pile of favourites has grown a whole lot bigger! One thing is definitely not over, though, and that is my love for colouring up these images, so you most certainly haven’t seen the last of my tiddly makes! As it is a new year, we are not doing a normal themed challenge, however there is a challenge! See the title of my post? You got it! Tag your creation in your blog or on Facebook, Instagram etc with #tiddlyspiration for your chance to win a fab prize! It’s so easy! See the challenge blog for more details.

My card for this post is one I recently made for a friend who got married right before new years. Congratulations, hun! I wish you both all the best!

Of course it also had to have a box to go with and Love You Mostest Couple is the best stamp as it didn’t only have the most adorable bride and groom, but it also has a lovely floral heart which was perfect for my box. I coloured it all in with copics and had a lot of fun (read struggled..) with the hair!

GoKreate dies were used for the shape of the card and I used Noor Design dies for the butterflies and the box is also from there. The lace and pearls are from Live and Love Crafts whereas the ribbon was bought at Range in the UK and doesn’t seem to have a brand name on it.. How odd. Anyway, I used loads of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, distressed all the edges and added some frantage!
