Tiddly Inks donut

Time to show off another Tiddly Inks card! Isn’t Molly the sweetest? Love her donut and her hair!

I’ve used paper by Lawn Fawn, dies from La-La Land Crafts and text stamps by Huldra Stempler.

Here is a photo from the side.

And here it is down flat.

Wryn in a peach coloured dress

First Tuesday of the month and you know what that means, right? It’s time for a new challenge at Tiddly Inks! This time we’re playing around with a moodboard. I’ve used the adorable Wryn Wishes, coloured with no-lines technique and given her a peach coloured dress. I played around to get a colour combination I liked and I think I’ll use that one more for sure!

The layout as kept really simple with some craft card stock and Maja Design paper. The frame and sentiment chipboard are from Make it Crafty and I coloured them in to match the image.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, E25, (hair) E41, E42, E43, E44, (dress) Y000, YR00, YR02, R22, YG61, G21, G40, (flower) C1, C3, YG13, YG67, YR00, R22,

Colouring video: Faythe’s Cherry Flowers

It is time for me to share my first proper tutorial. As usual I like to make it difficult for myself, so it’s a video tutorial. When I was colouring up Faythe’s Cherry Flowers (by Tiddly Inks) the other day I decided to film while doing so. This has now been made into a video where you can see how I’ve coloured up the image while I explain what I’m doing.

Would you rather view it on You Tube? Then you can click here.

I have used the following copics for this: (skin) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, (hair) E70, E71, E74, E77, E79, (dress and shoes) B91, B93, B95, B97, B99, (flowers) RV52, RV55, R39, YG13, YG63, YG67, (ribbon and shadow) C1, C3, C5

Faythe’s Cherry Flowers

Recently Tiddly Inks was out with a new image. It’s called Faythe’s Cherry Flowers. Of course I had to get it and use it as I think it is really sweet. I quite like the character Faythe and her awesome hair.

If you’d like to see how I’ve coloured up this image, you can see it here. Yes, I’ve made a video of me colouring her up! I hope you enjoy it! I’ll make a seperate post about it tomorrow.

I’ve used various papers from Maja Design along with some La-La Land Crafts dies and a Make It Crafty chipboard which I coloured with both matching colours and the white dots of the dress.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, (hair) E70, E71, E74, E77, E79, (dress and shoes) B91, B93, B95, B97, B99, (flowers) RV52, RV55, R39, YG13, YG63, YG67, (ribbon and shadow) C1, C3, C5

Molly with cake

The colour theme for the magazine was greens and yellows, so I decided, very last minute, to do a really bright, cheerful, green card! I used various papers to create a layered card. I wanted lots of layers as the other card I made was clean and simple.

I decided to use a Tiddly Inks stamps for this, Molly Celebrates seemed suitable for the occasion and she is coloured in with copics. I decided to both distress the edges and use frantage on top.

For the greeting I went with a printed out work onto one of the background papers and coloured up one of Make It Crafty‘s chipboards in colours matching the dress. To soften the edges a little I decided to paint all the edges with white acrylic paint. Then I added a ribbon and some sparkly green paper to make the card even more festive!

As a few photos of the card was required I will show them here. too!

This is a close-up of the greeting and chipboard. I used the same colours on the chipboard as I did on the dress. The same goes for the icandy.
