Here I decided to go with a non christmassy plain card and decorate with a lot of red (as opposed to using red as the main background colour). For this the main focus is on the various cards I used, rather than the stamp images. It was a good challenge.

Blue Christmas
The Blue Hour happens between night and day and is especially prominent when it’s snow out as it makes it even bluer. This reminds me of Christmas and I had to make some blue Christmas cards this year. Although this shade of blue is light, it still reminds me of the blue looking slow. Sadly the little snow we’ve had so far this year has been rained away the past couple of days. Hopefully there will be another major snowfall or two before Christmas!
I have also finally made a little time to make more cards; I made a pair over the weekend and I have just started on another which I hope to finish this week. If not, then on Monday after my last exam. (I’ll be so glad to be done with them.) They will both be posted next week.
Older looking Christmas cards
After 8 cards in green and red, I needed a change. The obvious choice was to make a sandy colour the main colour of these cards, as that’s a colour I’ve worked a fair bit previously. The sandy colour gives an old feeling to the cards, which work nicely at Christmas, I think.
More Christmas cards
With only three weeks to go until Christmas, I am quite pleased I have managed to finish half of my Christmas shopping already. I have not had a lot of spare time between studying for the various exams so far and I doubt I will get any more shopping done until the last one is over and done with around 6pm on Monday the 19th December. Hopefully I am able to make a few more cards next week, though. There are a few I would like to get done, birthday cards included!
This post contains cards I made early last month. Once again red is my preferred background colour.
Two more green Christmas cards
I keep walking over to my hobby corner, wishing I could sit down and make a card or two. But as soon as I get there I think of the amount of curriculum I have to get through and keep walking to my desk to force myself through yet another chapter. Hopefully this urge to make cards will last until I have an hour I feel I can spare.
This post contains yet another pair of cards I made about a month ago. As the first pair, they are both green.
