Summer fairy

How exciting! I was picked as a guest designer for Whimsy Stamps challenges! The challenge is up now and the theme is lots of layers. I am so glad blog posts can be scheduled, as when this appears I’m on holiday strolling on the beach by the Mediterranean Sea. Ah, bliss!

The stamp is of course from Whimsy Stamps. It was so difficult to pick one to use for the challenge! This fairy was irresistible though! And it was super easy to colour in as I wanted. I’ve used Copics all over and some glitter glue on the wings.

All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The paper is Maja Design. The ribbon is… a hanging loop cut off a top, haha. I needed a thin one, and that’s what I had at hand! The yellow border is punched with a large Martha Stewart puncher. The sentiment is made by myself with a bit of purple distress ink around the edge. I also used the distress ink on the swirly die cuts.

To enter in the challenge, go to Whimsy Stamps Challenges. I will link to the post directly next week when I’m back home from my holiday!  I’m back and the link is now up to date and links straight to the post.
