Father’s day is approaching fast in the UK. Here we don’t get it until November! The card I made is for my boyfriend’s dad. I wanted to avoid the usual colours of blues, greens and browns, but still keep it from being a girly card. It turned out to be easier than I had anticipated.
I used a balloon patterned paper in red, yellow and black, so those were the natural colour choices for the card. I decided to use a dragon stamp from Wild Rose Studio as they can be coloured in any colour. It was coloured in with copics. As it is a father’s day card, it had to be reasonably plain, so I decided to use a lot of white. The elements were framed with black. In the end I couldn’t help myself and added some red circular rhinestones.
