Mo’s One

I’ve coloured up this adorable little girl and her massive balloon this week. Mo has the most adorable images for children and this one is just delightful! A little fun colourful cluster for the decorations. This is one of her Patreon images, but there are loads others in her shop here.

PFS Shaker card

Soooo, guess what! I am on the Picket Fence Studios Design Team! After my guest spot in the autumn I was offered a permanent spot and here is my first card as a member of the team. It was a bit difficult to decide on what to show you first, and I’ve actually opted for a card without any colouring. That’s one of the reasons I said yes: to challenge myself to make more different types of cards, and more without colouring. I’m loving it!

I’ve used several of their new products and even matched it together with an older sentiment. For the main part of the card I’ve used the Plumeria Flowers 6×8 stencil (all links are affiliate links) together with two Distress Oxide colours. Then I’ve taken the 2.5″ Connected Circles Shaker Creator die to make the shaker element. I cut out and glued together 7 or 8 layers of card stock to get the height I wanted. This makes creating shaker cards super easy and I will be using them loads! On top of this I used the Hello Slim Line Die Cutting System insert. It fits perfectly! The text sentiment is from the Baby Butterfly Beauties stamp and then I used the matching die cut for it. All the gorgeous shaker elements are from the Hop Embellishment Jar. It even has cute little butterflies in it!

Rachelle’s Giraffe hug

I’m in a giraffe mood at the moment! They are such fun to colour up! Here I’ve used Giraffe Hug from RAM Stamps to make a baby card. I’ve die cut the coloured paper with a cloud die and then used a winter themed paper in the background. Various snowflake dies were used to add to the winter theme and then I stacked several die cut letters on top of each other to make the name pop out. A small banner with the date on was put underneath.

POD Rupert

I love making Christmas cards and try to make them all year around. Then, if something happens that prevent me from making loads in November and December, I will still have a fair few to send out at Christmas. So, needless to say, I’ve already made a start on this year’s cards already! Here is Rupert, he is making a snowman. I have paired him with the large mountains stamp, both from the Stacey Yacula collection over at Purple Onion Designs. I do love winter themed Christmas cards!
