LotV Fox

We’re down below -20 C today and, although it is very pretty outside, I’m happy I don’t have to go anywhere. I’ve used one of Lili of the Valley‘s adorable stamps from the Woodland Friends set for this card and cut it out by hand. For the background I’ve quickly ink blended a sunset and then used two different Mama Elephant cover dies on top of each other to create a little scene for my fox. With a layered die cut text and some sequins the birthday card was good to go!

PFS collab with Catherine Pooler

I’ve gotten to try some of Catherine Pooler Designs‘s Inks and I love them! Juicy inks and bright colours, yes please! For my card I have ink blended these three colours: Tiara, Bellini and Coral Cabana. The rest of the products are by Picket Fence Studios (this and all links to follow are affiliate links).

After inking up the background I used two different Paper Splatter Watercolours: Bark Brown and Liquid Gold. The snowflakes are from two different sets, Winter Snowflakes and More Winter Snowflakes. To make the sentiment pop out, I used text from the Snowone Else Like You set and embossed it onto black paper. The golden sequins is from the Karma is Like a Breeze sequin mix, whereas the snowflakes and transparent ones are from Holiday Stockings.

Here is another photo of card.

And a close up

PFS Rainbow

No colored image on today’s Picket Fence Studios DT card. Instead I’ve coloured up a die cut rainbow, A Rainbow die for All Seaons! It is quite a fun die, and the set includes a watermelon as well, but I decided to not include it on my card.

The blue card stock and the All About The Teals sequins add the sky and water drop effect. The sentiment is from the Animal Crackers You Deserve to be Spoiled set.

OCC – Day 4

I’m a bit slow to post this up on the blog here, it’s been on my Instagram since it was made, though. This is from Day 4 of the Online Card Classes – a smaller card making course focusing on card stock which I took at the end of August. This card here is made after watching Debby’s video.

I’ve used a Snip Art stencil with acrylic paint for the background, the chipboard is also from there, I believe. Dies by Honey Bee, La-La Land Crafts and Precious Marieke as well as a sentiment stamp by Mathia Design and some enamel dots by Altenew.

It was quite a fun card to make, even if it was a bit challenging to try to layer up the dies for dimension and placing them in a way I thought would look nice. In the end I’m really pleased with the result, so don’t be surprised if you see more similar cards in the future!
