I had fun playing around with Distress Oxide Inks again. A couple of pink shades this time. I did a random circle and a strip on the side which I then doodled around using my Copic multiliner and then I added some white dots in various sizes using a sharpie marker. I then drew up some dots on the top and bottom before adding my bear and sentiment to it. I coloured up the cardstock for the die cut in a matching colour as well. The die and the bear are both MFT Stamps..

Hero Arts and Lion King
For the longest time, (yes we are talking years here,) my sister wanted a Lion King themed card for her birthday. I was never really able to find what I wanted to use for it until a couple of months ago when I came across two perfect stamp sets from Hero Arts.Funnily enough, her birthday was right around the time of the premiere of the new Lion King film as well. My sister finally got her birthday card and I no longer have to be annoyed at that one little challenge I seemed unable to complete. Thank you, Hero Arts! Oh, and I had to promise to get her the film once it’s out on Blu Ray, too!
I used Distress Oxide Ink for the background and coloured up Make it Crafty alphabet letters using Copic.
LLLC: Sympathy
Day two of the new La-La Land Crafts release. Today I am showing you the stamp set Sympathy. I’ve made the background using the background stamp. As you know I love these mini butterflies and thought they were perfect for this project as well. Instead of using the matching ovals this time I’ve only used the scalloped ovals and then coloured in the centre to make sure the colour matches my card. Oh and I do love this doily die and will be using it a lot!

LLLC: Happy Boo to You
Today there is a new La-La Land Crafts release out. Halloween! Yey! Ok, so I don’t really celebrate Halloween, and it’s not a big thing here, but the past couple of years I’ve carved a pumpkin and it’s quite a lot of fun. Looking forward to doing that again this year. Anyway, new release, yey! Let’s take a closer look at some of it. There is even a full sentiment stamp set! Wooo!
I’ve got to say, bright and bold colours with a dash of black silouetted dies… LOVE IT! It’s been quite a lot of fun to play with this release and colours mixed with black. If you haven’t tried doing that, then you really should!
The background is made with distress oxide inks and I’ve used various dies, cut out in black, and a sentiment to get the feel I wanted for the card. Then I used this adorable witch stamp from Happy Boo to You and coloured it in with matching colours and voila! Halloween card done! You can find a list of all the dies (old and new) and stamps listed below.

LLLC – Just for You stamped dress
I’ve made a card where I tried something new. I decided to stamp the dress of the adorable little girl because the background stamp seemed so perfect for a dress! The stamp set I’ve used is Just for You from the new La-La Land Crafts release. I absolutely love this new background stamp!
To get this effect on the dress, I first stamped the background stamp in the colour I wanted the dress, and then I stamped the girl over the top of it. Then I fussy cut out the dress before I used my Copics to draw in some shadowed areas on the dress. Afterwards I glued it onto the girl stamp I’d started colouring up and voila!
The background stamp is stamped with a deep red Distress Ink, whereas the dress is stamped with a yellow shade of Distress Oxide Ink.
