Colouring video: Winnie Delivery Time

I finally have a new colouring video for you. This time I’ve coloured up Polkadoodles’ Winnie Delivery Time and added a little background to go with. It is all in the video. There is no audio this time.

Polkadoodles delivery time

I have another card with a drawn in background. This time I opted for a different kind of trees, but kept it pretty simple. A little at a time, right? 🙂 This was used with an adorable stamp by Polkadoodles called Delivery Time. I am quite enjoying making little winter scenes at the moment and this was no exception. There will be a video coming soon showing how I coloured this one up, so check back next week!

Lotv James in the forest snow

This is my second attempt at colouring in my own background. I stuck with various purples for my little forest scene. The adorable bear is by Lili of the Valley and I’m sure you’ve seen me use this stamps a few times in the past! It gets a bit of a different look with a drawn in background, though. I also added some snow to the ground as well as some falling snow. The brighter blue scarf and hat stands out nicely against the background.

The card itself is quite simple. I didn’t feel like it needed a lot added to it, so I simply used a stitched border die for the panel, a Norwegian Christmas sentiment in a dark purple and some semi-transparent sequins around it.

RAM Christmas Sled

It is time for another DT project for Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios. This time I have used the stamp Christmas Sled. It is such a cute little stamp! I printed it towards the bottom of the page because I wanted to give making my own background for it a go…

I’ve been looking at and admiring Sandy Allnock’s awesome colouring for a while and I’ve seen a card that inspired me to try to make my own background. I don’t have a lot of time, so I never have time to actually watch videos and such, so I decided to give it a go on my own and see if I could make something of the sorts. And I did! I’m happy with how it turned out, and I know I need a fair bit more practice, but it was fun and not at all as difficult as I had expected it to be!

I have to say I am a bit surprised how funny the transparent sequins look in the photo, but at least they look pretty cool on the card itself! The sentiment is from a collaboration between Mama Elephant and Simon Says Stamp, and I used Altenew ink on it.

The Copic colours will be added sometime tomorrow, so check back then if you’re curious!
