Purple floral card

Did you see the video I posted the other day? The one with the Norwegian audio? (If you missed it, you can find it here.) Well this is the card I made with the stamp I coloured up. I’ve finally made another layered card with loads of embellishments. It was quite fun to do.

The floral stamp can be found here, and the text sentiment here. I’ve used MFT Stamps and Maja Design papers, distress oxide ink, Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, frantage, lace, cheese cloth and the Tim Holtz paper distresser, just to mention a few things.

Here is a photo from the side.

Copics used: V12, V15, V17, YG13, YG63, YG67, Y13, E97

You have my heart

Another card ready for the MFT Stamps Superstar contest. This time I’ve made one for the Clean and Simple Genius category.

All the stamps are from the Ewe are the Best stamp set, the sentiment included. It was a little bit fiddly stamping them all on one layer as that is something I very rarely do, at least not several on one. The you die is half of the miss you die and it’s been cut out on the same paper I’ve used to frame the card; the green in the Watercolor Wash Brights paper pad. Everything has been stamped with Memento and coloured in with Copics. You can find a list of the colours I used at the bottom of this post.

Copics used: (grass) G21, G40, YG61, YG63, YG67, (dark brown) E70, E71, E74, E77, (light brown) E41, E42, E43, (grey) C0, C1, C3, C5, (heart) R22, R24, R27, R39, (sky) B60

Colouring video: Summer Dress Molli

It is Thursday and time for my second La-La Land Crafts tutorial. This time I’m going to colour up the entire image in no-lines. The previous LLLC video I did only covered how to do a sparkly dress (also no-lines), but this one includes both the skin and hair as well as the spotted dress. The stamp I have used is Summer Dress Molli

Would you rather watch this video directly on You Tube? Click here.

Copics used: (skin and face) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, E25, R20, R22, B00, B02, B05 (hair) E41, E42, E43, E44 (dress) G40, G21, G82, YG63, Y11, Y13, Y17, Y19 + white sharpie marker

LLLC: Summer Dress Molli

So, I bet you know all about the NEW RELEASE at La-La Land Crafts by now! I’m going to show you quite a few more projects I’ve made today and tomorrow, also.

First up today is another shaker card. This time I’ve used tiny glass pearls in the shaker area, and kept it small. Summer Dress Molli has been coloured in with no-lines technique and copics as usual and I’ve used loads of the new dies from this release. You’ll find a list of everything at the bottom of the post, and of course direct links to the products!

As most my cards yesterday were blue, I decided to go with teal, green and yellow as the combination for this. I’m not sure I’ve ever used that combination previously, but I really do like it! The paper I’ve used is by Poppydesign, and I’ve used a sail boat charm which I added on thin rope.

LLLC: Sassy Mermaid Molli

There is a NEW RELEASE at La-La Land Crafts TODAY! Wooo! It has a maritime theme and contains 2 background stamps, 3 clear stamp sets, 9 rubber stamps and 3 stencil sets. Yup, you read that right! There are more background and clear stamps AND there are stencils! I have tried them all and they are great! Really great!

What is a new release without a shaker card?

As you might have seen, I seem to colour up more no-lines than not with LLLC stamps, so of course it is another one of those! This time it is a mermaid and she was quite fun to colour up. If you want to colour up the tail like I have, then you can just use the technique I showed in the sparkly dress video here. It works for this as well!

For the background I have used both the big background stamp as well as the two sets of smaller fish. I’ve also used the smaller fish on the background inside the shaker area (made them with clear embossing powder), but it is a bit hard to see as I have layed the card down so you can see all the pretty sequins!
