Lotv bears building snowman

Lili of the Valley is working on yet another new Christmas release and it’s a great one! I simply had to colour up one of the stamps right away, with these bears building a snowman! Even though there is loads of white, I opted for a no-lines version of the stamp. Blue is my favourite colour for Christmas cards, so I suppose it was a bit of an obvious choice, but hey! When it looks great, why pick something else, right? hehehe

The decorations are kept simple with just a cluster of die cut scrap paper, some die cut snowflakes, one of Lili of the Valley’s own sentiments as well as some enamel dots.

And this marks the end of August. I am pleased I managed to do a card a day. There’ll be quite a few cards the next few months too, I am sure. Tomorrow is September, and I don’t think I am quite ready for autumn yet.

LotV Stargazing

Today I’m here to show my first make of the year for the Lili of the Valley DT. It’s a Christmas card I made last minute and I used the image I coloured up for a video you can find here. I simply framed it with a few layers of plain card stock and used a chipboard sentiment from the now closed Make It Crafty along with a sentiment I printed to match.

Copics used: (green) G21, G94, G99, (red) R22, R24, R29, R89, (elephant) N0, N1, N3, N5, R30, R32, (blue) B12, B32, B34, B37, (yellow) Y13, Y17, (ground) N0, N1, N3

Merry Christmas to you all

Today, the 24th, is the day we celebrate Christmas here. It was my turn on the Copic Marker Norge calendar today, for the final day, and I felt it had to be something quite special. I’m really good at putting pressure on myself, haha. Soooo, I took 3 of Mo’s Digital Stamps images and merged them together for a really simple card. I coloured it all up in traditional colours and kept the card as simple as can be.

And with this card I’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Santa’s even been by this morning, and I got my white Christmas after all. Yey!

Copics used: (red) R22, R24, R27, R39, R89, (dark green) BG90, BG93, BG96, BG99, (tree and wreath) YG13, YG63, YG67, G99, (brown) E70, E71, E74, E79, (hair) E21, E25, E27, E29, (skin) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, (orange/yellow) YR21, Y17, YR04, YR07, (white) N0, N1, N3

Out sledging

So many red Christmas cards as of late that I figured I’d show another blue one. This has quite a cold, winter feeling to it and the three bunnies are adorable. The stamp is from Lili of the Valley. I used some more of my Maja Design papers and my favourite lace, and kept the card rather simple again. I’m quite fond of this semi-layered, semi-simple card for Christmas this time. Keeping it layered, but leaving off a lot of embellishments.

Copics used: N-series, B90-series, BG90-series.

Big gift

Another layered card in red using Maja Design papers. I’ve really used a lot of this time around. The reason for that, I suppose, is that I have been making several cards at once so it’s handy to just use up all the paper, instead of saving half or 3/4 of something. This time I’ve used some cheese cloth and a Magnolia stamp with it, as well as a Papirdesign sentiment.

I should be back to adding the Copic numbers from tomorrow’s post onwards. If you are curious about any here, just pop a comment to this post.
