Wryn – Just a note

It is November already! Yikes! Time is flying super fast it feels like and I’m struggling to keep up! Anyway, new month means new Tiddly Inks challenge on the challenge blog! The theme this month is Divine Dimension!

Ok, so this was a bit of a struggle for me. I think I’ve simply been making too many CAS cards as of late, because it certainly felt like I wasn’t able to think of anything remotely useful! I did however end up making a shaker card in a darker green colour with a dusty pink to go with. I must say, I do really quite like this combination and I’m very pleased with how it all turned out in the end! The stamp I went with this time around is Wryn – Just a note.

The chipboards are by Make it Crafty, which I coloured up with Copics as well, papers are by Papirdesign and Maja Design. The frame die and the butterflies are La-La Land Crafts.

Here you can see the card laying down flat with the pearls in the shaker area more spread out and how various layers have some dimension to them.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, (hair) E08, E18, E19, E97, (dress) G21, G40, G82, (note) V000, V91, V93, V95 + white pen

LLLC: Dinomates

For the La-La Land Crafts blog this week we are playing with black and turquoise. It is a combination I quite like, and I opted to combine it with a spot of orange and a (for me) new stamp. I thought these dinosaurs were super cute!

Let’s have another photo, because why not!

Funky girl bookmark

Can you ever have too many bookmarks? For me that answer is no! I love reading and I rarely manage to read just one book at a time. I am also terribly good at misplacing my bookmarks so having an extra supply of those is great. With a kid that also loves to read it’s just a great way to keep making bookmarks!

I opted for pink, for a change, for this bookmark. I’ve used various dies from La-La Land Crafts, Memory Box and Precious Marieke, some washi tape, embossed a background and coloured up a stamp from Huldra Designstudio.

Jeg har laget et rosa bokmerke med La-La Land Craft, Memory Box og Precious Marieke dies, litt washi tape. Den hvite bakgrunnen er embosset og stempelet jeg fargela er fra Huldra Designstudio.

LLLC: Pumpkin Baby Luka

You can find links to all the various La-La Land Crafts products I’ve used below the photos. For the background stamp I have used Distress Oxide Ink in the colour Wild Honey

Here is another photo of the card.

LLLC: Christmas treat holder

Friday is upon us yet again and this time the La-La Land Crafts  DT Friday team has been tasked to make treat holders! I sat down with my paper tripper and my score board and after a couple of a attempts this is what I came up with. I think next time I’ll just find myself a tutorial to follow and save myself some hassle, haha. It was fun, though, and I quite like how it turned out! It is basically a box at the bottom with one panel each side tied together at the top.

I’ve used loads of different La-La Land Crafts products and you can find them all listed below the photos. In addition I’ve used Maja Design papers, some twine for the tag and ribbon to tie the box.

Here is the back side of the box which I’ve decorated with a sentiment, another hippo stamp and some dies.

Stamps:
Hippo Holiday clear stamp
Jolly Elves clear stamp (sentiments)

Dies:
Star Wreath
Filigree Christmas Tree
Long Flags
Photo Elements
Stitched Clouds border
Scalloped Rectangles
Stitched Nested Circles
