James bear with Christmas tree

30 degress Celcius and I was making Christmas cards to make sure I finished my two for May in time. It felt wrong, hahaha.

I used a stamp from Lili of the Valley. I do love James Bear! As I wanted to keep the card simple, I just cut strips of card stocks from some I had left over. I made sure to do random colours. Then I clued them all together diagonally across the card base, but made sure to keep two of the corners free. I then cut off whatever was outside the card base, typed up a sentiment, coloured in the background layer of the Make It Crafty chipboard and voila, the card was done!

Teddy bear birthday party

Once again I’ve made quite a simple card. I’ve coloured up some party bears from Lili of the Valley, called Happy Bears, and gave them the entire top of the card. The bottom I made with Maja Design paper to which I added a stroke of BG53 and a My Favorite Things sentiment embossed onto red paper, as well as a couple of candi on the bottom corner.

Here you can see the card from the side. The sentiment was added on foam pads.

Copics used: (bears) E41, E42, E43, E44, R20 (turquoise) BG53, BG57, BG49, (red) R22, R39, (white) W3, (floor) W3, W5, W7, (pot) E71, E74, E77, (leaves) YG13, YG67

Bella Birthday

Today I am showing you card I made with a Mo’s Digital Pencil image called Bella Birthday. The girl looks perfect for a happy or celebrations card! I decided to keep it clean and simple again, so what I’ve used is paper from Lili of the Valley, chipboard from Make it Crafty.

And here you can see the card a bit from the side.

James the bear is watching the snow fall

Here you can see the second Christmas card I made for March. This means I am still on track for two a month this year, phew! Barely made it with this one as well. I guess I will try to do better in April and start a bit earlier.  At least, I still had snow when I made this.. not sure I will manage to make anything once tempratures start realising summer is only a couple of months away! Oh well, I’ll try!

I went with a Lili of the Valley bear. This is possibly my very favourite bear and I love his different poses. His name is James, by the way, if you didn’t know. Lili of the Valley was one of the first stamp brands I started using, and even though they have stopped selling their rubber stamps, I still have mine from when I first got them in 2011! I’m glad they’re still doing digital stamps, as they’re great!

I’ve used Noor Design and Maja Design paper, a bit of acrylic paint and cheesecloth as well as Baker’s Twine, a Kort og Godt charm and some candi. Those are all high on my list of things I like to use to make Christmas cards.

Here is another photo where the card is laying down flat:

Wryn with dandelion

There is a big new Tiddly Inks release today! New clear stamps, new digital stamps, new awesomeness! There is no secret I love me a bit of Tiddly Inks and I think I might have a new favourite! I thought I would show a card with her today, because she is super cute! She is called Wryn Wishes.

I did, as I have done a lot lately, decide to make a clean and simple card. CAS card are quickly turning out to be my new favourite, and they take no time to make at all! This one I did with a printed sentiment, a border stamp from Neat and Tangled which I used blue memento ink on, and a background paper from Lili of the Valley. The image is coloured in with Copics as usual.

Copics used: (hair) E70, E71, E74, E77, E79, (skin) E00, E02, E04, E13, E15, (pinks) R20, R22, (green) YG01, YG13, YG63, YG67, G99, (sky) B32, C1, (yellow) Y13, Y38, E97

I will be back with a new card tomorrow!
