A thank you card

It has been a while since I coloured up a Wee Stamps image, so I thought I was due using one again. This super cute little girl is one of my favourites and this time I decided on a blue and purple combination!

The Kort og Godt charm, twine, Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, various papers (Lili of the Valley and Pion Design for sure) together with a dash of acrylic paint and an embossed Papirdesign stamp make up this card. I made it for one of my co-workers as her leaving card and the text says thank you very much.

And here is another photo, just for fun.

Copics used: (dress) B91, B95, B97, B99, (hår) E08, E18, E19, E49, E97, (skin) E000, E00, E04, E11, (flower) V01, V05, V06, V09, (yellow) Y04, Y38, YR09, (floor) W1, W3, W5

15. Giraffe and present for a baby girl

Today I have a baby card for a girl. I don’t often have those, do I? This one is very clean and simple using a Lili of the Valley stamp which I coloured up with Copics. The paper is from Papermania and I made the sentiment myself. I’ve used dies from Spellbinders (both the scallopped circle and plain circle)

Another photo where you can see the colouring a bit closer up.

Copics used: (giraffe) Y000, Y04, Y17, E41, E43, E44, E47, (ribbon) C1, C3, C5, C7, (present) R81, R83, R85, R89, (ground) W1, W3, W5, W7

3. James the bear Lollipop

Throughout the month there will be non-card projects, too. I’ve had fun experimenting and trying to make new things the past couple of months. One of the things I’ve tried to make is a so-called Lollipop card. I’ve seen a few of them around and decided to make one myself. As usual I didn’t look at any tutorials, but decided to just play around to see if I could make one. I think it turned out alright, too.

The image I coloured is one of my first stamps. It’s James the Bear from Lili of the Valley where he’s carrying presents. It’s fun to make at least one Christmas project with him every year.

I’ve used papers from Maja Design, dies from Noor Design, some frantage, distress inks and white acrylic paint.

This is a side on view and a photo of how the backside looks. The sentiment stamp is from Norsk Stempelblad.

Copics used: (bear) E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, (red) R22, R24, R27, R59, (green) YG61, YG63, YG67, (grey) W1, W2, W5

Baby giraffe

It is time for a new challenge at Copic Marker Norge. The theme for the new challenge is a new beginning. My contribution this time around is a baby card. I decided to go with one of the adorable baby stamps from Lili of the Valley. It’s been a while since I coloured up any of their images, so I’m sure there’ll be more of them very soon!

Here is a view of the card from a different angle:

Copics used: (giraffe) Y000, Y04, Y17, E41, E43, E44, E47, R20, R22, (present) B000, B00, B02, B05, B91, B93, B95, B99, (ground) W1, W3, W5, W7

The shy pot plant

It is time for a new challenge over at Tiddly Inks. This time it is an autumny colour collage you can use for inspiration. I’ve stuck with most of the colours, apart from maybe the orange. The stamp I decided to use for this is one of the stamps you get in the Shy Violet set. It’s been coloured in with Copics. You can find the list of colours below.

I’ve used a text sentiment from Lili of the Valley, and flowers from The Hobby House and Wild Orchid Crafts.

Copics used: (pot) E42, E43, E44, E47, E49, (table) W1, W3, W5, W7, (flower) R81, R83, R85, R89, (leaves) G40, G82, G94, G99
