3. James the bear Lollipop

Throughout the month there will be non-card projects, too. I’ve had fun experimenting and trying to make new things the past couple of months. One of the things I’ve tried to make is a so-called Lollipop card. I’ve seen a few of them around and decided to make one myself. As usual I didn’t look at any tutorials, but decided to just play around to see if I could make one. I think it turned out alright, too.

The image I coloured is one of my first stamps. It’s James the Bear from Lili of the Valley where he’s carrying presents. It’s fun to make at least one Christmas project with him every year.

I’ve used papers from Maja Design, dies from Noor Design, some frantage, distress inks and white acrylic paint.

This is a side on view and a photo of how the backside looks. The sentiment stamp is from Norsk Stempelblad.

Copics used: (bear) E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, (red) R22, R24, R27, R59, (green) YG61, YG63, YG67, (grey) W1, W2, W5

The Hobby House

Just a quick post to say that I am super excited to be part of the Hobby House design team! They have such lovely ribbons, pretty flowers and pearls and gorgeous pre-coloured card toppers and I am honoured that they have asked me to be a part of their team! Tomorrow I will introduce their website in a new post and show some of the cards I have made using their stuff! Stay tuned!

In the mean time, why don’t you visit The Hobby House to have a look at their great products for yourself!

A new home

I had been seriously considering it for a few days, and it finally happened yesterday. The blog has a new home here in Lizland. It didn’t quite fit in where it was located previously, so I think this is a good change. I have spotted some competitions I would like to enter in, so it is nice having a site dedicated to crafting hobbies only, which is what this will be. Recently I have also stumbled upon some great blogs, but before I wanted to comment I wanted to have this blog sorted out. It is not done yet, though.
