Autumnal

Time for another one I have coloured myself. An autumn one. We are mid-autumn here at the moment and it is so pretty and colourful outside. I think I have to go for a walk just to take photos of it one day next week. But yes, anyway, card.

The image I have coloured is an Elisabeth Bell one from the colouring pads at The Hobby House. I coloured it in with copics. I have used plain stock card for the corners and the brown paper is by Tim Holtz, and I don’t remember where the purple one is from. The flowers and ribbon are by Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is by Kort og Godt. I have also used various dies and punches: Dienamics, Martha Stewart and QuicKutz. Ok, it’s not quite that untidy and hard to find things, but you get the gist, haha. The jeweled butterfly is purchased at a local shop.

Contemplation

Another simple cards; one of my favourites. Maybe that’s because it’s purple… Anyway, the image I have used is a pre-coloured topper by Lili of the Valley, and the sentiment stamp is also from there. The ribbon and bow are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the paper is by Papermania. I added a small row on purple rhinestones and used tiny yellow ones for the flowers also.

Make sure you create something today, after all it is World Card Making day! πŸ™‚

Lovebugs

When I was making this card, I was just having fun with dies and punches really. I have used a Martha Stewart puncher to make the bottom purple flowery shape, a couple of QuicKutz dies and a doily from Papermania to layer it up. The other smaller dies are also by Martha Stewart. The friendship recipe stamp is from Lili of the Valley and the image is by Wee Stamps by Sylvia Zet which I have coloured in with copics. I purchased the pearls at a local shop and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

It has been ages since I entered anything in challenges, so it’s about time, I reckon! This card has been entered into the following challenge:

Eiffel in love in Paris

This week at Paper Playtime, we’d like you to use a pun. I had quite a few puns I was considering, but in the end I settled for ‘Eiffel in love in Paris’. I decided to use this super cute pre-coloured Sylvia Zet image which is available at the Hobby House. As it is a predominately purple and orange image I made the sentiment in these colours. The papers are plain card stock in white and purple, a purple star patterned paper I’ve had since who-knows-when and an orange plaid patterned paper from a First Edition Paper pad.

I have also used spellbinder dies as well as two Martha Stewart punchers to make the leaves and the butterfly. The butterfly punch was purchased only a few days beforehand and I have already made tons of random butterflies just because they are so pretty, heh. The purple ribbon, bow and all the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the white ribbon might be a papermania one. I will look and update the post when I’m back home from my holiday. It turns out it is not by papermania; it only has the word ‘Celebrate’ on the front. I do, however, recall that I bought it in Range in the UK.
