Happy Christmas penguin

Another simple Christmas card with a little penguin. This time the penguin is from MFT Stamps and I’ve coloured it up with Copic. I did a funky cut of a paper by Panduro and glued some big snowflakes on top of it. A chipboard sentiment with a printed sentiment (because I have somehow managed to misplace my heating gun…) as well as some sequins finished off the card.

kraft Birthday dragon

When I saw the new sketch challenge over at MFT Stamps, I quickly knew that I had to make card using this little dragon. I coloured up the dragon last month using my Prismacolor pencils and I thought it would look cool having the kraft elements of the sketch on a white background. The sentiment is Norwegian and means “congratulations“. I figured bright pink would make it stand out well.

This card has been entered into the following challenge:

MFT Stamps – Sketch #503

A shabby chic card

It doesn’t happen very often, but sometimes I do make cards without a coloured up image. Here I’ve used Maja Design paper together with one of their printed images. I’ve used white acrylic paint around all the edges, by favourite lace and some ribbon together with flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The numbers are from a MFT Stamps die and the sentiment is by Mathia Design.

If you need me, I’ll be there

I have something as rare as a shaker card to share with you today. I hardly ever make them, but I figured it was time for another one. The bunny on moon stamp is by Mama Elephant, which I cut out by hand, and the stitched elements are made with MFT Stamps dies. I used a Maja Design paper in blue with stars on and then used darker blue shimmery stars for the shaker area. The chipboard (text and stars) were from Make it Crafty and I coloured them in matching colours. These were used together with a sentiment strip by CZ Design/Simon Says Stamp.

I’ve taken a photo of the card laying down flat as well so you can see the little stars I’ve added to the shaker area.

Girl, make a wish

For some reason I haven’t shared a card where I’ve used a Mo Manning stamp for quite a while now, so I thought today would be a good day for just that. This adorable stamp, Mona, simply screamed to be coloured up last month and now I’ve made it into a pretty simple card. I’ve used a frame die by MFT Stamps, a stamped sentiment by Pretty Pink Posh, a chipboard by Make It Crafty and some enamel dots by Altenew.
