Baby boy

It has been a bit quiet on the blog front for me as of late. On the card front, too, actually, as my mojo is still off somewhere. I am however still able to make the odd card. This is a baby boy card I made using a super adorable Mo Manning image. Everything is coloured with Copics. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Live and Love Crafts.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, (hair, I think was..) E53, E55, E57, (outfit) C1, C3, C5, B0000, B000, B00, B91

Twin girls

When I was asked to make this card I was so thrilled it was two twin baby girls! I’ve made a few twin cards before, but not one I could make super girly and pink and frilly and pretty! I took a while to find the right image, but when I came across this Mo Manning image, I simply had to have it! I coloured it in with copics.

As for all the goodies on the card: I have used Noor Design dies for the butterflies, edge border and leaves, Live and Love Crafts for the lace and berry flower, Wild Orchid Crafts for the remaining flowers.

Newborn

Although we mostly have beautiful sunny day with colourful leaves everywhere, it is getting colder and the other day we had the first few flurries. It makes me look forward to my holiday even more. Sunshine, sand and sea. Yes, I am definitely ready for a couple of weeks of summer! From mid-November I will certainly get back into crafting a bit more though, because I potentially start off the new year with another exciting trip abroad. Some people say turning 30 is horrible, but I think this is turning into my best year yet. I’m loving it.

The card I’m sharing today is made with Pion Design paper. It is the same sheet that I have used both the front and back of. I had a request for a baby card, but it was to not use the traditional colours, so I chose green. I framed it with a soft green and used cream coloured ribbon, bows and pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts. The pre-coloured image is from The Hobby House. It is a Mo Manning image this one. They are so easy to use and great if you haven’t got a lot of time to sit and colour stuff in yourself. The flowers used are all from Wild Orchid Crafts as well, and the ribbon with hearts on is purchased at Bikuben.

One step, two step

It’s Monday again. That means it’s time for another challenge at Paper Playtime. This week we have the theme of more than one fold and I chose to make a stepper card.

The super cute image is another pre coloured image by The Hobby House, a Mo Manning one this time. The papers are from Papermania. The stepper card blank is from WhichCraft, I believe. I do not remember where the heart came from. The sentiment stamp, however, is by Lili of the Valley and as always I have used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The lovely white ribbon is by The Ribbon Girl. I’ve made the leaves with a Martha Stewart puncher and used Tim Holtz distress ink on the heart.

Recently I bought some pre-coloured MoManning images from The Hobby House. As my friend loves all things girly and glittery I had to add glitter to the wings and added some darker pink lines with glitter glue. All the various leaves have been made using a Martha Stewart puncher. The papers are primarily from First Edition Paper, the smallest of their pads. I have used flowers all from Wild Orchid Crafts and the bow is also purchased from them.
