Snowy birthday card

With all the colouring videos lately, today I have a card without any colouring! I have used the snowflake stamp set from MFT Stamps and stamped it loads of times using various colours of Distress Oxide inks and Altenew inks. At the end I embossed white snowflakes on top. It was quite a fun project and I rarely make anything without any colouring, at least no clean and simple cards with just ink and embossing powder!

A few transparent sequins and a simple sentiment finished off the card.

Sweet celebration slimline

I’ve finally gotten around to making another slimline card! I’ve coloured up stamps from MFT Stamps and then I used the filmstrip die from Whimsy Stamps (aff. link) for the layout. The little stamps fit perfectly into those squares! I quickly made two sentiments on the computer, as I didn’t have what I wanted at hand, and then coupled it with a word die also from MFT Stamps. A few enamel dots from Altenew and voila! Card done!

This card has been entered into the following challenge:

MFT Slimline FebruaryBirthday

RAM + MFT

MFT Stamps has started selling clear stamp with Rachelle Anne Miller‘s lovely illustrations. I’ve been so lucky that I’ve gotten to play with one of the first ones they released last week! It is called Care of My Heart.

I coloured the girl up three times. The first two my markers were fighting back, but I finally won on attempt number three. After colouring it up I’ve cut it out by hand and then made a little background on white cardstock. I’ve used stamps from MFT called Distressed Patterns with various Altenew and Distress Oxide Inks. The sentiment is from the same set as the girl stamp. Both the dark turquoise cardstock and the stitched rectangle dies are from MFT as well.

Polkadoodles summer winnie

It has been cold here lately, but the sunshine that has come with really brightens everything. It does make me want summer, though, so I’ve made a summer themed card for today. The stamp is by Polkadoodles and is called Winnie Summer Day.

The card itself is simple, as usual, with a thicker frame, and then a doily, two die cuts where one is with the sentiment from the Everlasting Sentiments set, and a few sequins making up the embellishment. I’ve used some foam tape on both the coloured panel and the sentiment strip.

Below is another photo of the card where you can see the dimensions a bit better.

RAM paper plane

It is time for my second DT project this month for Rachelle Anne Miller. What also happened today is that MFT Stamps has announced that from the start of February they will be selling Rachelle’s illustrations as stamps! How cool is that? For today’s project I’ve used the paper plane with the two kids. I made this card inspired by a card I made last autumn and hand cut the stamp for a change. I used two distress oxides for the sky together with a self-made circle stencil and MFT’s cloud stencil, and then I put the clouds, plane and sentiment on form pads
