Lotv Penguin family

I have another card to share with that I made with one of the new digital stamps available at Lili of the Valley. The stamp is called Penguin Family. I opted for something different this time and coloured in a semi-circular background behind the penguins with a hard edge to said semi-circle.

The card itself is kept simple by using stitched rectangle die for the panel and then I added some twine and one of the Christmas Topper sentiments. I cut out the sentiment by hand and then made a whole in it before attaching it to the twine. The whole coloured panel with the twine was put on a red card base.

Copics used: E41, E42, E43, BG90, BG93, BG96, BG99, N0, N1, N3, N5, N7, N9, R32, R35, R37, R39, YR04, YR09, aaaand I admit I don’t remember the combo for the sky… it might have been BG10, B000, B91, B93.

Sleepy dragon

I have another card made using pencils on kraft today. This time the image is by Lee Holland and I’ve used Prismacolor Premier again to colour it up. I wanted the card reasonably simple, but with a fair bit of white, so I cut the panel down to pretty much a square and found some twine. Thankfully I had some that matched very well and I tied on a charm by Tim Holtz that I’ve had forever. A Mathia Design sentiment embossed onto black card stock and three enamel dots from Altenew finished off my card.

Mmmm Strawberries!

Our theme this month, at Copic Marker Norge, is something edible. Initially I was going to use a stamp with donuts, but I got a Power Poppy gift certificate for my birthday a few days ago and I simply had to colour up this stamp! Don’t the strawberries look yummy?! I cannot wait for summer and being able to pick some in mum’s garden! Strawberries are delicious!

Penguin and polar bear Christmas

I’ve been looking at the adorable penguin stamps by Crissy Armstrong at Whimsy Stamps for a while and this month I finally got around to purchasing a few of them. Two of them have made their way onto cards so far and today I will show you the first one of them.

The card is made using various Maja Design paper and my favourite Go Kreate dies. The text stamp is by Norsk Stempelblad and apart from painting the edges white and using a bit of twine and lace, I’ve kept the card free of embellishments.

Once again time prevents me from adding the colours, but I’ve mostly used Ns, low Ws and R20s.

LotV Winter bunny with bird

Here is another Christmas card I’ve made to match the others I’ve done the past two months. I’ve used one of the recent Lili of the Valley stamps along with one of the new sentiments. The papers are all Maja Design and I’ve used my usual acrylic paint, favorite lace, some twine, a charm and the wonder shape die by GoKreate.
