Wedding in Paris

It’s wedding season, isn’t it? Here is the first of about a handful of cards I have made. I stumbled upon some lovely pre-coloured images by Wild Rose Studio. Aren’t they lovely?!

The paper I used is a lovely rose frame by Pion Design. The leaves and butterflies are made from a Martha Stewart puncher. I used pearls to give the butterflies bodies and also to decorate the top corners of the card and to frame the image. The ribbon is from one of the Christmas flowers from last year, I believe, and all the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Puppy love

Black and white. I love that combination. I haven’t got much black here, but plenty of grey! To jazz it up a little I decided to add a chunk of red! And not a lot else. The red was pretty powerful on its own, I thought. The pre coloured image is by Lili of the Valley. I have the pad with these animals and mostly grey tones. So cute!

Widdle Bunny

Wait, wasn’t it just January? I’m pretty sure it was! There most be a time thief on the lose as I have no idea where the days are supposedly flying off to!

Here is another card featuring primarily The Hobby House products: pre-coloured topper, ribbon, pearls and roses. The dies are spellbinder, the puncher is Martha Stewart and the paper is Papermania. Why don’t you pop over to The Hobby House challenge blog and check out this month’s challenge which is on Buttons!

Ribbon bauble for a baby girl

Time for another challenge at the Hobby House! The challenge was added at the start of the month and it is now time for my contribution. We have the fun theme of Ribbons! As I always make cards, I thought I’d give a go at making something else entirely and stumbled upon this tutorial. I didn’t follow it exactly. My bauble base is 10cm diameter and I have used 9 different ribbons, or was it 10? I have definitely lost count of how many pins I used for it! I’ve actually had so much fun making this that I’m already planning on making another one, heh.

All the ribbon I have used in this project are from The Hobby House. They are such pretty ribbons!
