Wintery wedding

Just finished packing for another trip. Flying off to Senegal in a couple of hours so squeezing in a quick update before I go!

A friend of mine asked me to make a wedding card. The wedding was yesterday, so I can now put it up here! As it is a winter wedding, I had to use snowflakes and a wintery green, while still making it look like a wedding card.

The topper and green pearls are from The Hobby House, the flowers, white pearls, thin ribbon and bow are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The thicker ribbon on the box is from The Ribbon Girl. The big snowflakes are made with a Martha Stewart puncher.

All the best to Paul and Lisa! 🙂

Mister Frosty

Merry Christmas everybody! God jul!

Sadly, we got no snow for Christmas this year. Our Christmas was celebrated last night. It was stormy, rainy day. Still, it was cozy and warm in doors with plenty of traditional films to watch on the TV, a lot of yummy food and cakes and plenty of gifts.

I still had to make a few cards with snowmen and snowflakes on! I have used various Martha Stewart punchers for this card, some pearls and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, a doily from dovecraft and a pre-coloured image from Lili of the Valley. Luckily, I found some background paper that I thought fit the image perfectly. This is one of my favourite cards this Christmas.

Christmas in the forest

Just a few more days left of work until Christmas is upon us. I really must get the last few Christmas presents sorted this week. but  I have a feeling I won’t get it done until the very last minute again: on Monday.

Todays card I believe is made with paper from Pion. I’m not entirely certain who made the image I’ve used, but I did purchase it at Bikuben. The ribbon is from the Ribbon Girl and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have used pearls from The Hobby House and made branches with a Martha Stewart puncher.

White wedding

Monday again! First of May is right around the corner and we are having the first signs of spring! Rain! Alright, we’ve had some lovely sunny days as well, but the temperatures are still low. Looking forward to not having to wear a coat every day for sure.

Monday means new challenge over at Paper Playtime! This week’s challenge was a difficult one for me; embossing. I am entirely useless at embossing! The little embossing I have done have been made with the handy folders. This card has been made using one from Marianne Design which does both cutting and embossing, and I have made a wedding card out of it. I have also used various punches and dies from Die-namics and Martha Stewart. The ribbon and bow are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
