Phoenix

It is Friday and time for another progressive challenge at Art by Mi Ran’s Facebook group. Basically you join the group, follow the guidelines to purchase the image and enter in the challenge, then next month when the new challenge is up you get the image given to you as long as you took part the previous month. Great right?! This month we’re playing with Phoenix. If you’d rather not play along, she’ll be available for purchase next month in Art by Mi Ran’s Etsy shop.

I made my card reasonably simple after I had coloured the image in with copics. I used a few dies from Noor Design and had fun with some black gesso.

Gardening birds

Every other post a CAS card means we’re due a new one today! Well, technically yesterday, but I just felt like posting up the other one first, heh.

I just love the colours of this one, it could be both summer and autumn inspired! As usual I have made the CAS card with a Lili of the Valley pre-coloured image. I think they are just perfect for this purpose! The sentiment I decided to use is also by Lili of the Valley; a stamp this time. The papers are from First Edition paper, and the ribbon from a local shop.

This card has been entered into the following challenge:

Lili of the Valley – Anything goes

Birds making bunting

My first blog post made from my phone. I am on holiday, but thought I would attempt to add a blog post anyway as I didn’t have time to schedule any before I went. Bare with me if looks horrible, I will fix it when I am home next week then.. heh. Typically I have gotten a nasty cold, lost my voice and cough all the time… oh well, right.. 🙂

Anyway. A simple card made with a lovely pre-coloured Lili of the Valley topper. The sentiment stamp is also by them. I purchased the ribbon at Bikuben and the small colourful circles are card candy by Craftwork Cards.

Christmas in the forest

Just a few more days left of work until Christmas is upon us. I really must get the last few Christmas presents sorted this week. but  I have a feeling I won’t get it done until the very last minute again: on Monday.

Todays card I believe is made with paper from Pion. I’m not entirely certain who made the image I’ve used, but I did purchase it at Bikuben. The ribbon is from the Ribbon Girl and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have used pearls from The Hobby House and made branches with a Martha Stewart puncher.
