Elephant birthday

On Tuesday, a friend and I decided that we were going to attempt the new MFT Stamps sketch challenge, no matter what it was, when the new one was out. That was yesterday. My card came along pretty nicely. I used some stamps I coloured up a while back and kept the same colour scheme for the rest of the card, using blue, turquoise and lime green Distress Oxide inks. I cut out the coloured panels using dies from MFT Stamps and the stamps are also from them as well, the Happy Hippos and Adorable Elephants sets. I finished the card off with a Norwegian sentiment, which means happy birthday, by Mathia Design (Hobbykunst) and a few enamel dots from Altenew.

26. Girl with big balloon

There’s been a lot of Christmas lately. Funny that, right? Well, today someone special has her birthday, so I feel I had to have a pink birthday card on my blog! It’s very plain, but still fun I thought. The stamp is by Mo’s Digital Pencil and I think it’s great! I love the huge balloon and the little girl! I jazzed up the card with some Bazzill card stock in three different colours, whereas the sentiment stamp as added to one of them. The sentiment is by Papirdesign.

Copics used: (pink) RV00, RV02, RV04, RV09, R89, (bear) E41, E43, E44, (hair) E21, E25, E29, (skin) E000, E00, E04, E11, (grey) W2

Fab Annie with a balloon

Friday and showcase time at Tiddly Inks! I decided to use Annie for this one. She was a freebie earlier in the year and no longer available. Tiddly Inks has a lot of other adorable images as well, though. Have a look! I drew in the balloon myself.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the lace and ribbon from a local shop, dies are Noor Design and the sentiment stamp is Lili of the Valley. I coloured her in with copics, distressed the edges and added frantage on top.

Dragon with cupcake

Today we have yet another card I made a couple of months ago when I was on my last card making spree. I have still not had time to make any more, so I’m glad I got so many done in August. It looks like I might not have time to make anything until mid December, but I hope I am wrong. Anyway, here is the card.
