Snowy birthday card

With all the colouring videos lately, today I have a card without any colouring! I have used the snowflake stamp set from MFT Stamps and stamped it loads of times using various colours of Distress Oxide inks and Altenew inks. At the end I embossed white snowflakes on top. It was quite a fun project and I rarely make anything without any colouring, at least no clean and simple cards with just ink and embossing powder!

A few transparent sequins and a simple sentiment finished off the card.

RAM + MFT: Birthday cutie

There is another new release coming to MFT Stamps this month where Rachelle Anne Miller‘s illustrations are present. I’ve been lucky enough to play with this one before it’s being released Tuesday next week. It’s such an adorable little stamp! I’ve stamped it with Fade-Out Ink and did a no-line version. Once again my markers were arguing with me, so this is the third one I coloured up.

The background is made using Scattered Straw and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Inks and then I used MFT’s Happy Birthday background stamp on top. The sentiment at the bottom is from the same stamp set as the girl and the stitched rectangle die is also from MFT Stamps.

Rainbow books

I really wanted to make something today. It’s been a super busy week and I’ve hardly had time to sit down and spend time crafting or colouring, so now that it’s finally weekend I wanted to make sure to get some time in! And nothing. There was nothing I felt like making, apart from a vague feeling of wanting something with a rainbow on. After a while I remembered this pencil colouring I did a while back. The stamp is by Mama Elephant. I had some Lawn Fawn scrap paper laying about in lovely rainbow colours, so a piece of that, some white cardstock and the perfect Mama Elephant sentiment meant I got a card done after all!

Birthday celebration

Time for a fun birthday card using a stamp by Stamping Bella. I opted for a layered card this time using Maja Design papers, my favourite lace, a bit of matching ribbon and some chipboard numbers. The edges have been painted white with acrylic paint.

Crafty Meraki yellow orchid

It is Tuesday and that means it’s my turn to be up on the Crafty Meraki blog. I have decided to use one of the collaboration stamps from the latest release; the orchid stamp in collaboration with Colorado Craft Company. This is one of my favourite floral stamps at the moment.

As winter is approaching quickly in my corner of the world, I decided one some bright, cheerful, summery colours. I don’t tend to use a lot of yellow, and this card is filled with it! A bit of bright pink to go with seemed perfect. I have used sentiments from Pinkfresh Studio to go with.

I decided to try something a little bit different this time and instead of stamping up the sentiment normally, I stamped the word hello in InkOn3’s fadeout ink and then I coloured it in using the same Copic markers I’d picked for the centre of the flower. It is something I haven’t tried much before, but I think it gave the text a cool gradient/ombre effect.

And here is a final photo of the card.
