Smile – happy birthday!

There were three different categories for the MFT Stamps Superstar contest. The third one, which is where I am entering this card is called Innovation Master.

I have made half the card as a rainbow coloured shaker area. I’ve used a bunch of different Distress Oxide inks for the rainbow coloured background and flicked some water onto it with my fingers to get some texture. Then I used the big smile die and cut out the center. I did this on three layers in total (where I cut out the center part on the bottom two) and layered them up with some beads in four different colours to get some of the rainbow effect inside as well.

The stamps I’ve used are from three different stamp sets: Adorable Elephants, Magical Dragons and Birthday Chicks.

Here you can see the card laying down flat and the beads are all over.

And a photo from the side, because why not!

Oh and what copics I used? I don’t really remember.. sorry!

My favourite kind of party

There is a big fancy yearly contest going on at MFT Stamps. And there is nothing like that kind of contest to make you doubt yourself, hahaha. I’ve spent a couple of days just staring at the stamps wondering which to use and what to make with them. Then I coloured up a few various ones in matching colours before staring at them some more.. I decided mostly how I wanted my card on Friday, but didn’t get it finished before going away for the weekend. So now that I am home it is finally done.

Colourful, cheerful and party is the look I went for. In pink and yellow. Oh, and loads of different type of animals to symbolise all the different kind of people that are your friends.

I’ve decided to enter it into the colouring challenge. I have used stamps from loads of different stamp sets and coloured them in with Copics. (I will update this post tomorrow after work with the list of the stamp sets), stamping ink from MFT Stamps and Memento, Distress Oxide Inks for the background and kept the rest plain.

Copics used: RV17, RV52, RV55, Y11, Y13, Y17, Y19, E41, E42, E43, E44, E70, E71, E74, E77, E79, C0, C1, C3, W0, W1, W3, R20

This is a blog hop to celebrate Copic Marker Norge‘s 7th birthday. By commenting on my post you could win a prize from my blog. My card is made using a Mo’s Digital Pencil image, MFT Stamps sentiment and die and some Distress Oxide Inks.

Og nå anbefaler jeg å hoppe videre til Hildes blog.

Up, up and away

I’ve coloured up this adorable My Favorite Things stamp to use on a card for a little boy. Of course I had to make it a fun wobble as well! I kept the card very plain again and just added some die cut clouds on blue card stock. The sentiment stamp is by Huldra Design.

Here is a view from the side, as usual.

Copics used: V09, V12, V15, V17, BG53, BG57, BG49, C1, C3, C5, RV000, RV81, E70, E71, E74, E77

Little ballerina

It’s been a while since I made anything. In fact I haven’t made anything “for fun” in almost a month. It’s been a rough month. But today I finally felt like making something again. The image is one I coloured up for the 30 day colouring challenge a while ago, but never got around to using it. Now it’s made its way onto a card and I quite like it!

The adorable little girl is by Mo’s Digital Pencil, called Lil Ballerina (it is one of the retiring images, so be quick!), whereas the sentiments are by Penny Black and MFT Stamps. And I kept it very simple.

Here you can see the card from the side. I’ve added the white onto foam tape and used a purple card base.
