Animal fun – Tiddly Inks blog hop

It’s blog hop time! Tiddly Inks is hosting a blog hop to introduce the new temporary DT that I joined last month and some guest designers are taking part also. I decided to mix and match a few of the stamps. The cat, hat, presents and text stamps were fun to put together for this CAS card. I think they are perfect for fun party cards! You can find the various stamp sets here.

And guess what! The amazingly talented Christy has let me put one of her stamps on here for you all to download for free! How great is that?!

Simply click on the photo (it should open in a new tab for you so you get it full size), then right-click the image and choose save picture as, the image is called fun animal party. Then you can print it out and colour it up like you usually do. Don’t forget, as always, you may not upload the uncoloured image to share on your site. If you want others to get the digital stamp, you are more than welcome to direct them here so they can download it, too. Make sure you always follow Tiddly Inks‘ terms of use when you use one of their images, this one included!

Purple pansy passion

No colouring from me today. Instead I am showing one out of three cards I was asked to make for three great ladies who turned 50 in June. For this one I opted for purple and shabbied it up a bit by roughing up the edges. The paper is possibly Maja Design (or I suppose it could be Pion), I can never really keep track of it. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the butterfly puncher by Martha Stewart.

CMN 5 years – blog hop

One of the events we are hosting to celebrate Copic Marker Norge‘s 5th birthday is a blog hop. There will be prizes randomly drawn from those who follow the requirements listed below. Once the blog hop is closed I will also draw a random winner among the comments I have received. They will receive a small goody bag. I might update this post once I return from my holiday next weekend with a photo of the goody bag, and if I don’t have time I’ll add a photo when the winner is announced shortly afterwards. This also leaves me room to throw in a few more things!

The prizes for the main blog hop are as follows:

  • A Copic Marker Storage bag (without markers).
  • 3 digi stamps of your choice from Art By Miran.
  • An e-book of colouring tutorials of your choice from Make it Crafty.

My card has been made using a lovely stamp by Ching-Chou Kuik. I am quite pleased with how all that hair turned out this time! WOC and LLC flowers with some Noor Design butterflies and ribbon from a local shop make up most of the embellishments. The small transparent pearl things are from a local shop and I love them – I think I’ll throw a few into the goody bag, in fact.

Soft blues

Here is the card I made for the most recent Art by Mi Ran facebook anything goes challenge that started almost two weeks ago. As my mojo isn’t been playing along for a while, I decided to use one of my favourite images, Rora and Butterfly.

The paper is scraps I had laying about which I roughed up the edged of and layered along with some ribbon, lace and cheese cloth. The lace and pearls are from Live and Love Crafts, as the blue flowers whereas the white rosebuds are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiments are stamps from Lili of the Valley and Make it Crafty.

Beauty and the Beaker

I made this card for one of my co-worker’s birthday last year. The image is more than perfect because it even looks like her! I’ve coloured it all in with copics. The letters are made with a Noor Design die, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Live and Love Crafts. I’ve also used some Martha Stewart puncher. And the perfect image? That would be Saturated Canary. It is called Beauty and the Beaker, and I’ve cropped off about half as I really wanted it close up.
