Stacked presents

Time for a purple card! As it is Lili of the Valley’s 9th birthday today, a card using their stamps seems highly appropriate. Obviously, the stamp is by Lili of the Valley, coloured in with copics, and the sentiment stamp is from there too. I have used paper from the first paper pack I bought, as well as paper from a small First Edition paper pad and some scraps I had left over. The leaves are made with a Martha Stewart punch, various flowers, ribbon and a pre-made bow from Wild Orchid Crafts. The layout I did here is a version of a criss-cross card.

Having a rest

It has been over a month since I last posted a masculine card, so here is one! I made this one a couple of weeks ago for my uncle’s 70th birthday. The image I used is a pre-coloured one from Lili of the Valley, and the flowers are as usual from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have used Spellbinders for the circles, both scalloped and not, and the leaves are made with a Martha Stewart puncher.

Aeroplanes and boats

My dad is 60, today. Happy birthday to him!

This is the card I’ve made him. I cannot remember where the papers are from, but the vintage image is from Pion Designs. It’s a perfect image my dad used to be an airplane mechanic. (Ok, he was working with slightly newer and fancies planes, but hey!) The stamp is by Lili of the Valley and all the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The branches are made with a Martha Stewart puncher. I have no idea what made me mix in a dash of orange, but I’m pleased with how it turned out!

Beary bouncey

Finally! Last week I had time to dig out the crafty bits and make a handful of cards before I packed it all away again and headed off to England. I had to make a few male cards this time. To balance it out, I also made a few feminine cards. I’m sure I’ll find a use for them one day, heh. This card was made for a family friend.

Puppies are pals for life

With such beautiful spring weather, the card creativity has been limited to bulks! When I feel creative I make a few cards and then I don’t really many anymore that week. I have to get a few made ready as I plan to move my crafty stuff out of sight for over a month shortly, to make sure my studies get at least some attention before the fast approaching exams! My boyfried’s baby cousin’s 7th birthday is coming up in less than a month, so hers was one of the cards I made yesterday.
