Baby Fairy

Monday again. Time for a new challenge at Paper Playtime! This time the challenge is to use two or more ribbons. (Twine etc. is also ok!)

I was asked to make a card for a coworker, for a christening. I decided on this super cute MoManning image, which I coloured in with copics. If there are any shades you’d like to know the code for, just the question in a comment and I’ll let you know. For the edges I used a Martha Stewart puncher. Another Martha Stewart puncher was used on the leaves behind the flowers. All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Spring wishes

May. Almost. At least that’s what the calendar claims. The weather seems to do its best to disagree. Oh well.

It is time for another spring card. I made this one with a butterfly border on top, made with a Tim Holtz die. The image is a pre-coloured topper from Lili of the Valley, and the sentiment stamp is from there too. I have used ribbon and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, card candi from Craftwork Cards and a Martha Stewart puncher for the leaves.

One step, two step

It’s Monday again. That means it’s time for another challenge at Paper Playtime. This week we have the theme of more than one fold and I chose to make a stepper card.

The super cute image is another pre coloured image by The Hobby House, a Mo Manning one this time. The papers are from Papermania. The stepper card blank is from WhichCraft, I believe. I do not remember where the heart came from. The sentiment stamp, however, is by Lili of the Valley and as always I have used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The lovely white ribbon is by The Ribbon Girl. I’ve made the leaves with a Martha Stewart puncher and used Tim Holtz distress ink on the heart.

Butterflowers

Bloglovin; love it! It was incredibly easy to transfer all the blogs I was following on blogger over to it and now I have all my blogs neatly arranged in categories so I can easily find blogs I am looking for as I can never remember the names of all of them when I want to look for something. The layout of it all is very good and I love how I get an extra toolbar where I can go to the next or previous new blog post. It is a shame some people require using blogger to follow to enter in things, as I reckon I won’t bother with them for much longer, but hopefully following through Bloglovin will be more popular soon. I love how I can now easily follow non-blogger blogs! Give it a try! Here is a link if you’d like to follow my blog on Bloglovin.

Anyway, I have a card today too; an easel card! The paper is from first edition paper, and the butterfly edge is made with a Tim Holtz I got for my birthday (a bit early). The lovely image is a pre-coloured one from Lili of the Valley. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the ribbon I used is from Dovecraft. The leaves are made with a Martha Stewart puncher and the card blank is from Craftwork Cards. All the scalloped circles are made with QuicKutz dies.

Bunny date

Oh holiday, how I needed thee. It’s already a couple of days into the holiday and I am very much enjoying not having a long list of “need-to-dos”. I am however considering purchasing a cutter and some paper and make some cards while on holiday though, heh..

The stamped sentiment caught the flash a bit, but it says “have yourself a very happy birthday” and is from Lili of the Valley. Its ink really isn’t quite as pale as it looks in the photo, heh. As is the pre-coloured image I have used. The colourful buttons are from Craftwork Cards and are called card candy. All the flowers are (as always) from Wild Orchid Crafts and the branches are made with a Martha Stewart puncher.
