Mo’s Peter Pan

It is Wednesday and I’m sharing another card using Mo’s Digital Pencil. I have made something a little bit different this time: a full panel shaker card for a boy! Various distress inks for the background before adding loads of sequins for Peter Pan to enjoy. Hopefully Tinker Bell won’t steal them all before the card reaches its recipient!

The background is made using 4 different distress oxide inks, a splatter stamp and a background stamp both by MFT Stamps. Various sequins were used to fill the card before a cut out Peter Pan was glued to the top with die cut letters and enamel dots both by Altenew filled the space next to him.

Saying hi with flowers

I’ve coloured up one of Emily Midgett’s colouring panels. A dash of yellow for the flowers and a bright yellow background. The only decorations are a few transparent sequins and a die cut sentiment. The sentiment is actually the hello die by Altenew (aff.link) which I cut into a Norwegian equivalent. I admit it worked a lot better than I had thought and it doesn’t look like it’s been cut, I think. Love it when you can use a die like that!

Happy 30th

This is the other of the two cards I made for my sister’s birthday this year. I decided it was time to try a full panel shaker card. I’ve seen a few others make these recently so I played around a little bit to see if I could work it out. I think it turned out alright and it’s such a fun card to give away!

The background is made with distress oxide inks and then I used a background stamp from MFT Stamps on the top part of the background in a slightly darker turquoise colour. I used various sequins and blings for the shaker area and then I added a sentiment and a coloured Tiddly Inks image on top.

Fox with presents

There’s be a lot of Christmas cards on the blog this month. In October and at the start of November I coloured up a few stamps, but I haven’t had time to make cards of them until recently. Hopefully I will have time to blog them all before Christmas, but as I don’t know how many coloured images I have laying around at the moment, it’s a bit hard to guess how many cards there’ll be!

For this one I’ve coloured up one of Lee Holland‘s stamps. This is in fact one of the very first stamps of his that I bought, but it’s taken a while to get it coloured up and onto a card! I’ve opted for my favourite blues, gave the card a wide border and used a chipboard from Make it Crafty which I coloured in to have a gradient effect. A few semi-transparent sequins scattered around and voila! card done!

MFT Christmas cheer

Have you made any Christmas cards yet? I am almost done with mine now. In fact I posted my first few ones yesterday! I’ve used lilac colours again this time. The stamp set is by My Favorite Things is a part of the Stacey Yacula collection and is called Christmas Cheer. I have masked various of the stamps together to make the little scene.

The base is made with lilac card stock from MFT Stamps as well and I used one of their Stitched Rectangle stax dies. The sentiment is a Mama Elephant die cut out with white card stock and at the end I added some semi-transparent sequins around the top.
