Whimsy Wee Maya

Today I’m going to show you another card made with Wee Stamps at Whimsy Stamps. This is Maya. I was asked to use earth tones and decided to add a dash of red to it. The papers are mostly Maja Design, as usual. Even though the card is layered it’s reasonably simple with few embellishments. The lace gets to stand out really well against the green background.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, (hair) BV20, BV23, BV25, BV29, (red) R32, R35, R37, R39, R89, (green) BG90, BG93, BG96, BG99, (brown) E70, E71, E74, E77, E79, (ground) W0, W1, W3, (background) B000, B00, Y000, V000, N0

Whimsy Devina

My second card as a part of the Whimsy Stamps DT features this adorable little girl, Devina, and I’ve made a clean and simple card. That is mostly because I will probably make about half my cards as CAS and the other half as layered, so may as well do that from the start.

I’ve used some washi tape and Norwegian sentiments from Huldra Designstudio. I’ve drawn in a little border and other little bits, just for fun. And as always you can find the list of copics I’ve used below the photo.

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, RV00, (hair) E08, E18, E19, E49, E97, (red) R22, R24, R27, R59, R89, (grey) BV20, BV23, BV25, BV29

Whimsy Wee Dyanne

So, guess what! I’ve accepted a position on another design team! I’m now a part of Whimsy Stamps Digital Design Team and today marks the day of a new release, and therefore also my first card on the DT! I’ve made a semi-winter, semi-spring themed birthday card. The stamp is called Dyanne and is a part of the Wee collection. The various sentiment stamps are from there as well.

Unfortunately I don’t have

Penguin and polar bear Christmas

I’ve been looking at the adorable penguin stamps by Crissy Armstrong at Whimsy Stamps for a while and this month I finally got around to purchasing a few of them. Two of them have made their way onto cards so far and today I will show you the first one of them.

The card is made using various Maja Design paper and my favourite Go Kreate dies. The text stamp is by Norsk Stempelblad and apart from painting the edges white and using a bit of twine and lace, I’ve kept the card free of embellishments.

Once again time prevents me from adding the colours, but I’ve mostly used Ns, low Ws and R20s.

A wee winter fairy for Christmas

Today is my second day on the Copic Marker Norge blog this month for our advent calendar. You don’t need the most typical Christmas stamps to make Christmas cards. This, for example, gets most of its Christmas feel through the colours I’ve used on the papers. The cute stamp is by Wee Stamps / Whimsy Stamps and I’ve used various papers from Maja Design. I’ve used a text stamp by Norsk Stempelblad and ribbon bought at Panduro. The card shame is made with dies from Go Kreate and I’ve edged the pieces with white acrylic paint.

Here is a close-up photo of the colouring. I wanted to show you how the wings, ear muffs and snow looks. To get that effect I simply played around with various light coloured markers, but with a bit extra focus on blue, until I got it how I wanted.
