Punch and wine

June has seemed more like monsoon season, than first month of summer. Something good has come out of it though: it has put my creativity on an all time high! I reckon I have been making an average of three cards a day the past week and a half. I am surprised my other half hasn’t gone mad by now…

For this card I used some of my old scrap paper bits with wine images and text I had left over from a card I made in September. To accompany it I used a card blank and a plain deep red card. I used the Martha Stewart Wild Flower border punch for the edge. Apart from that I used a scallop oval die and a plain oval die, both Nestabilities from Spellbinders. The tag and the stamp on it are from Whimsy Stamps. All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The stamped image is the Chester part of a stamp called Luis with Chester from Wild Rose Studios, coloured with copics. The wine bottle button is one I bought at a faire early in the year and I cannot recall which stand it was at unfortunately.

Inside the card I have also punched a side border. The paper is from an old pad of mine from Ursus, I believe. I have also reused the scalloped oval and oval dies. Additionally I’ve used a flower puncher to make some flowers. The greeting is one I’ve made myself.

This card has been entered into the following challenges:

Try it on Tuesday – Anything goes
Wild Orchid Crafts – Punch it out
Moving along with the times – Birthday week 2
