A wee frosty snowman

It’s snowing today. That’s a pretty perfect backdrop for the current theme at Copic Marker Norge: Winter.

A couple of months ago I got a semi-challenge to colour up a Wee Stamps image. As it’s been a while since I’ve coloured one of hers, at least that have ended up here on the blog, I decided it was time. I chose this adorable snowman. I’ve used some Martha Stewart punchers, Noor Design and Maja Design papers, distress ink and Live and Love Crafts lace.

Here is another photo.

Copics used: (snow/snowman) B0000, C1, C3, C5, (clothes) E42, E43, E44, E47, BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78, 100, W3, W5, W7, (leaves) YG03, G82, G99, (birds, nose) B0000, B000, B91, B93, YR04, Y04, Y17

Wryn’s Leaves

It is time for a new challenge at Tiddly Inks! And as autumn is well on its way here and the leaves are turning all over the place and filling up the lawn, the challenge theme is quite appropriate! Fall colours!

I picked the awesome Wryn’s Leaves, which I coloured in with copics. It was quite fun to colour, although I made the actual drawn in leaves disappear somewhat..

What does an autumn card need? Leaves! Lots of leaves! So I went crazy with my Martha Stewart punchers and Noor Design dies and put leaves everywhere! All the layers are on foam stickers so that the leaves really are poking out everywhere! I used papers from Maja Design, Memory Box and Lili of the Valley and lots of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The swirly thing-a-ma-bobs are from Kort & Godt.

Let’s have a close up! It’s been a while since I did any of them.

Ketner’s Mornings

I have finally gotten into the habit of doing more blog posts! Today I’d like to show off another shaped card I made for a confirmation recently.

Oh, and on a side note.. I have finally added blog to Facebook as well, so if you’d like to follow it, here is the a link: Lizland on Facebook

This is the first time I have coloured up one of Jeremiah Ketner‘s lovely images, called Mornings, and it certainly won’t be the last! I used copics to colour it in and then dabbed a bit of distress ink around the image. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Live and Love Crafts; the lace is also from LLC. I have used dies and punches from Noor Design, Martha Stewart and Memory Box, as well as Go Kreate to make the card shape.

Punch and wine

June has seemed more like monsoon season, than first month of summer. Something good has come out of it though: it has put my creativity on an all time high! I reckon I have been making an average of three cards a day the past week and a half. I am surprised my other half hasn’t gone mad by now…
