Polkadoodles witch

It’s time for another Polkadoodles card! I used Winnie Wednesday Witch and decided to make a birthday card from it. We don’t tend to make a big deal of Halloween here, even if it’s a little bigger every year, so Halloween cards is something I don’t make many of. To have a fitting sentiment for this card, I decided to just write one up and print it. I really wanted a wicked one!

What I do enjoy though, however, is to carve pumpkins and due to various restrictions and unfortunate circumstances due to the current pandemic I ended up carving three of them this year. You can see the photos of them on my Instagram account!

MFT Superstar coloring virtuoso

Apparently it’s that time of year again. The time when MFT Stamps are having their annual contest. So I spent some time masking and colouring and squinting trying to see where to colour the various bits. Here it is, my entry for the colouring part of the Superstar contest.

I have used five different stamp sets to make this. The girl, the cupcake stand and the biggest present is from the Sweet Birthday Wishes stamp set, the 3 smaller presents and the balloons are from Beary Special Birthday, the banner is from Up in the Air, the birds are from the Happy Hippos set and the clouds are from Scene Builder.

I’ve used one of the STAX rectangles for the panel itself, the cardstock is After Midnight and the embossed sentiment is off the Bitty Bears set.

RAM boy with dragon

I’m back with another card made for Rachelle Anne Miller’s Creative Studios today. For some reason I seem to enjoy colouring up these detailed stamps as small as possible and this card is no exception. I used boy and stuffed dragon for this card and kept it very simple. The photo doesn’t show it well, but I used a stencil to emboss the white panel. A simple “happy birthday” written in Norwegian on matching cardstock with a few enamel dots is all I needed for this card.

Copics used: BG70, BG10, BG11, BG15, BG18, BG78, B91, B93, B95, B97, BV23, BV25, BV29, Y32, Y35, Y38, E97, E08, E19, YR23, YR27, E00, E02, E13, E15,

Statement Flowers slimline

I have made my very first slimline card! You might be getting tired of them by now, but I have coloured up the Statement Flowers by ALTENEW yet again. I can’t help it, I love that stamp! This time I cut out the two flowers after I’d coloured them up. Then I used Pinkfresh slimline die to make a card base onto which I stamped a few of the leaves from the Leaf Clusters stamp set using one of the greens from the Zesty Limes ink cubes set. I used the same green to stamp the “my friend” which is also from the Leaf Clusters stamp set. The beautiful happy birthday die is also from Pinkfresh and I added some enamel dots around the text.

As it is the first time making a slimline card it’s also my first time trying to take a photo of one. It seemed a bit empty without props, so I figured I’d give that a go for a change. I think it worked well enough for a first try!

Bunch of tulips

For my birthday I got loads of stamps from Power Poppy and this is one of them. I opted for a no-lines version again and colours I very rarely use and probably haven’t used together before.

The dies are by MFT Stamps and Pinkfresh.
