Uptown party

This stamp must be one of the stamps I have used the most. It is by Stamping Bella. I’ve used washi tape to make the background behind the girls. It is by Altenew. The stamp is coloured up with Copic Marker and I added the glitter effect to the white dress, but went without the white gelly roll for the red dress for a bit of a different effect. I then cut the panel to the right size and drew in a border around the edge.

The sentiment is in Norwegian and means “to a wonderful friend like you” and is by Mathia Design.

MFT Superstar – CAS

Another one of the challenges for this year’s My Favorite Things Superstar is to make a clean and simple card. I actually made a couple today as I had a few ideas and this is the one I’ve decided to enter with. I’ve used the rubber stamp Fresh Cut Flowers and stamped it with a faint coloured ink. Then I have masked it off and coloured a stipe of it only in mostly greyscale, apart from the leaves which I wanted to remain green. For the sentiment I’ve used a text stamp from the Ewe Are the Best set and the you part of the miss you die which I’ve coloured up to match the rest.

Copics used: G21, G40, G94, N0, N1, N3, N5, N7 + black multiliner 0.3

Let’s party!

Today marks the start of my week of blogging for Huldra Designstudio and for the first project I’ve combined it with a Stamping Bella party stamp. The text stamps are all from Huldra. I have kept it simple by only using colour on the stamped image and the rest is black and white with a touch of glitter. It’s a party after all!

Copics used: (skin) E000, E00, E02, E13, E15, (brown hair) E21, E25, E27, E29, (black hair) BV20, BV23, BV25, BV29, and if I can find my cheat note then I’ll add the pink and blue.. *sigh*, if you’d really like to know, just post a comment and I’ll try to remake the combination if I can’t find the note!

LLLC: Believe in YOU

It’s Friday and once again that means it’s time for another La-La Land Crafts project! This time I’ve gone with black and white using only the N-series of Copic and black Distress Ink and Memento Ink along with black and white card stock.

Black, white and more cake

It is time for a new challenge over at Copic Marker Norge. As usual, our theme of the month is Anything Goes, and the DT have been challenged to make their projects on a certain topic. This time it is black and white, or sepia. I’ve opted for a clean and simple black and white card. I’ve used a stamp from Mo’s Digital Pencil, text stamps from Neat and Tangled and MFT Stamps and a die cut from La-La Land Crafts. I’ve drawn in the borders to have an extra design element on my card, which I decided to make as a bit of a wider rectangular than I usually do.

Copics used: N0, N1, N3, N5, N7, N9
