Birthday wishes

I had fun playing around with Distress Oxide Inks again. A couple of pink shades this time. I did a random circle and a strip on the side which I then doodled around using my Copic multiliner and then I added some white dots in various sizes using a sharpie marker. I then drew up some dots on the top and bottom before adding my bear and sentiment to it. I coloured up the cardstock for the die cut in a matching colour as well. The die and the bear are both MFT Stamps..

More distress fun

Here is the second card I made with the elephant and hippo sets from MFT Stamps for the course I’ll be having in a week and a half in Oslo. I went for blues and greens this time to contrast the pinks of the other card.

Here is a photo of both of them together:

Hippo birthday (og nytt kurs)

It is time for me to prepare for my second cardmaking course in Oslo, and for that I’ve used a card I made in 2018 as inspiration. I absolutely love this effect from distress oxides combined with the adorable stamps from MFT Stamps. It was so much fun doing the first one and I’m looking forward to the next already.

Hero Arts and Lion King

For the longest time, (yes we are talking years here,) my sister wanted a Lion King themed card for her birthday. I was never really able to find what I wanted to use for it until a couple of months ago when I came across two perfect stamp sets from Hero Arts.Funnily enough, her birthday was right around the time of the premiere of the new Lion King film as well. My sister finally got her birthday card and I no longer have to be annoyed at that one little challenge I seemed unable to complete. Thank you, Hero Arts! Oh, and I had to promise to get her the film once it’s out on Blu Ray, too!

I used Distress Oxide Ink for the background and coloured up Make it Crafty alphabet letters using Copic.
