Hi you

I’ve had fun with another card! I’ve used a Pinkfresh stencil with Distress Oxide and Altenew ink on a Simon Says Stamp background stamp. The yellow background paper is by Law Fawn, word and letter dies by MFT Stamps and a dragon stamp by Mama Elephant. I do love mixing brands to get the look I want. Hopefully I’ll have time to make more cards like this. It was so much fun!

RAM + MFT: Birthday cutie

There is another new release coming to MFT Stamps this month where Rachelle Anne Miller‘s illustrations are present. I’ve been lucky enough to play with this one before it’s being released Tuesday next week. It’s such an adorable little stamp! I’ve stamped it with Fade-Out Ink and did a no-line version. Once again my markers were arguing with me, so this is the third one I coloured up.

The background is made using Scattered Straw and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Inks and then I used MFT’s Happy Birthday background stamp on top. The sentiment at the bottom is from the same stamp set as the girl and the stitched rectangle die is also from MFT Stamps.

Copics used: YR31, YR21, YR23, E35, E21, E23, E25, E00, E02, E13, E15, RV91, RV93, RV95, W0, W1, W3

RAM + MFT

MFT Stamps has started selling clear stamp with Rachelle Anne Miller‘s lovely illustrations. I’ve been so lucky that I’ve gotten to play with one of the first ones they released last week! It is called Care of My Heart.

I coloured the girl up three times. The first two my markers were fighting back, but I finally won on attempt number three. After colouring it up I’ve cut it out by hand and then made a little background on white cardstock. I’ve used stamps from MFT called Distressed Patterns with various Altenew and Distress Oxide Inks. The sentiment is from the same set as the girl stamp. Both the dark turquoise cardstock and the stitched rectangle dies are from MFT as well.

Your own kind of beautiful

I have another card for you using Paint-a-Flower Poppy by Altenew. I have, yet again, coloured it up with my RV90-series Copic markers. I’ve already done this twice; one as a no-lines version here and another with repeated stamping here.

Like the previous version of this card (see here) I have cut the flower out by hand. For the background I’ve used the Feathery Stencil and Distress Oxide Ink in the colour Milled Lavender. The sentiment is part of the Paint-a-Flower Paeonia Japonica and I stamped it using the Sugarplums mini cubes set. To finish it off I drew in some dots with the same Copic marker as I used on the darkest part of the flower and put some enamel dots around the text.

Copics uses: RV00, RV91, RV93, RV95, RV99, G21, G24, G28, E74, E79

Elephant birthday

On Tuesday, a friend and I decided that we were going to attempt the new MFT Stamps sketch challenge, no matter what it was, when the new one was out. That was yesterday. My card came along pretty nicely. I used some stamps I coloured up a while back and kept the same colour scheme for the rest of the card, using blue, turquoise and lime green Distress Oxide inks. I cut out the coloured panels using dies from MFT Stamps and the stamps are also from them as well, the Happy Hippos and Adorable Elephants sets. I finished the card off with a Norwegian sentiment, which means happy birthday, by Mathia Design (Hobbykunst) and a few enamel dots from Altenew.

This card has been entered into the following challenge:
